I would love to get really really good at this game, it feels very satisfying to play the game even if you consider yourself to be decent.
Now you have to live your life knowing that, no matter what you achieve, nothing will get close to giving you the transcendental feeling of awesomeness you experienced when scoring a butt-goal as Wario in Mario Strikers: Battle League. Such is the punishment for doing something so fantastic.I scored a butt goal with Wario, so I consider that I already finished the game. Don't worry I'll keep enjoying the post-game.
I haven't won a single match in club mode so far.
I'm still having lots of fun losing, though, so it's fine.
Same here, haha... I'm glad it's not just me. I've noticed I've been playing better with partners than solo, though.
How does partnering up in club mode even work? Does it match you with other people in the club, or with randoms?
That's a good question. I would assume they partner you with random players, because limiting that to your fellow club members might lead to very long (mayeb infinite!) waits. But then, how would that work? Which club name would show up during the match? Yours or your partner's?How does partnering up in club mode even work? Yeah it'll be the standard vanilla ruleset for the first season but I am also interested to see what the future seasons have in store.I can't wait!
I wonder what kind of rules they will use to make each season different from the ones that came before it. Since this will be the first one, I am expecting a vanilla ruleset, with items and hyper strikes turned on. But as things move forward, perhaps they will put some shenanigans into the formula.
That's strange. The few cases of rage-quitting I have come across netted me the victory, the coins, and the tokens. Your case must have been some sort of bug.Hey just joined the forums, excited to represent the club tomorrow!
Ran into a rage quitter and noticed it didn't give you anything at all. Felt like a wasted match. Hope that is not the case upon club play start. Could see that being a problem.
Yeah, that absolutely makes sense lolMario Strikers: Battle League is doing well in Spain.

That would have been really awesome!Yeah, it has been pretty fun. I played some matches before work this morning. At one point I was 4-1, but then I hit a bad streak and ended up at 5-6, I believe.
My only complaint is that I wish they had gone the Splatfest way and "colored" the game with a different vibe since the season is underway.
I am glad you like that Peach!Played a bunch of league games for Fami Strikers.
Won 9 and lost maybe 5 or 6. Had loads of fun and intense games.
Loving some of the strikers on the roster. Got a shooty Luigi upfront with Peach, backed up by Meeple's Waluigi and my DK in defence.
Peach been delivering the perfect chip crosses into Luige diving headers. Love to see it.
The season rewards are a nice touch. All very achievable (got most quite quickly), aside from 30 fully charged tackles in one match. Might take a while..
Ooof. Was going to pick this up this week but seeing here and elsewhere the difficulty when playing online against others is giving me pause lol
I am not sure how good of a Strikers player I am, but the losses I've had have mostly been close, either by 1 or 2 goals. The only exception I remember was a game earlier today when my Boom Boom decided to take a break from blocking shots, which caused me to lose by 8-4.Ooof. Was going to pick this up this week but seeing here and elsewhere the difficulty when playing online against others is giving me pause lol
Had the same thought - time to go gung ho!And yeah, that 30 charged tackles challenge is by far the toughest one. I guess the only reliable way to do it is sort of sacrificing a match and going crazy with the tackles for 4 minutes.
Glad my Waluigi is helping .Played a bunch of league games for Fami Strikers.

I guess we can save for the stadium upgrade and then get the little ones afterwards. Given how much this first upgrade costs, I wonder how crazy expensive the next ones will be!Also, we have a couple of votes already for the stadium customization, how do you feel? Should I start changing or should we focus the bigger stadium upgrade (that we still can't afford, but are getting closer) and get the other ones after it?
BTW since Earthbounder and Skipper are more prevalent in this topic, if you want I can transfer the club to one of you.
Had exactly the same experience with hyperstrikes as a solo player vs. multiple opponents. Can't get the orb, can't block the shot. And hyperstrikes are basically guaranteed to go to the team. It's a major disadvantage, and when you have players that work together it's basically a wash.
It's full at the moment (20/20 players) but sure a slot will come up depending on how active people areIs it too late to join the Fami club?
I just faced off against a player from one of the top teams. They don't have a stunning winning percentage, but they have an insane number of matches. I believe their record was something like 499-456. I thought I was doomed, but I was able to win 2-1. But then I had two terrible matches to finish my morning session at 2-2 overall.
I agree that solo-only lobbies need to be a thing. I wonder if they will ever address that.
Also, I just got crushed by someone who scored about eight goals by only using very weak shots taken from close to the goal by poor shooting characters! It wasn't a fun loss. I guess that like fully-charged shots from the midfield, Boom Boom has a problem against those and this person built a playing strategy out of that weakness.
Yeah the competition is fierce.Yesterday I played 4 or 5 matchs against randoms and I lost all of them lmao The game is pretty fun, wish some friends got it but my sister is going to get a Switch in a few days and because I'm going to game sharing with them I could always play with her and her husband.
Gear for the goalie would be neat. Going to get Boom Boom some giant foam gloves so he can stop Rosalina scoring from the halfway line.I too could only play very few matches. Will be more in the next season! Regardless, it seems we will be on the first place lol.
Bum Bum really is sometimes hard to pass and on other occasions incredibly slow. It would be cool if he could wear gear as well. Stats could be reaction, knocked out time if he gets hit and so on.
By the way, are we sure there are only people from this board in our club? Surely we got some randoms too. Maybe we should all write our Strikers Name in here?
