When will the next Direct air?

You’re talking about sustainability which would naturally include financials so yes.

Overall point is I’m saying is some series like FE and Pokémon make some visually lackluster games despite large overall success while games on the same system published by Nintendo look good. But they still sell well so it’s not like it’s something they’re pressured to change, sadly, anyways.

Was referring to what Sony does.These massive "cinematic" action movie games that have to sell 5+ million units just to break even much less be a massive success.Most of nintendos output isn't anywhere near that expensive to make not even their most ambitious titles.

To add to that, Sony's games usually drops in price fast. So even if they get those 5+ million sales, most of it probably wasn't at full price. There's a reason they started putting their games on PC and are looking into GaaS.


Pokemon will always be held back by the sheer number of monsters and we've yet to see a FE game made solely or at least mostly by Intelligent Systems. Going by how great Color Splash and The Origami King look, I'd say they'd be able to make quite the looker.

Two weeks is gonna last a long time if things keep slowly leaking out, I'm trying to watch it generally spoiler free while knowing a few titles that might pop up. I might take a brief break from here if it get super leaky and come back the week of.

Well, I don't think it will get leaked much at all. We already knew the date but that does not mean things will start to leaking out. Yeah Fire Emblem leaked but we knew the details for a long time, never in my life did I seen a game from EPD leaked (maybe it's existence, but details were always limited, never a photo or something).

Leaving the Direct until the end of June was a mistake. Everything is literally leaking lol. Square announcements such as Tactics Ogre and freaking actual screenshots of the next mainline FE game.

Honestlty I could do with a bit more enthusiasm and excitement right now. There is quite some negativity surounding the Direct, mainly regarding Persona and the FE leaked screenshots.
I really preferd when the general vibe is excitement, goofiness and also wholesomeness. I mean, we are going to have a new Direct in 15 days with brand new games announced and updates on some super exciting games.

FE leaked screenshots are fine, the FE fandom is known to overreact to literally everything in a negative way, a couple of leaked early build blurry screenshots would make them lose their minds, but a good amount of people are positive on it too

I agree. It was also one of the few leaks with concrete informations like "red/blue" from Nate for example.

Honestly, I wouldn't take negativity on the internet gaming space too seriously. It's prone to hyperbole on a wide scale. See: any Direct thread in the aftermath of a broadcast.

It drains on the mind if you engage too much with it.

Haven't all recent Metroid games leaked recently? Metroid V leaked before release quite a time before reveal, and it seems like Metroid Prime HD is the same case. Metroid also tends to leak quite a bit, something I'm surprise though is that there are almost no leaks from NLG games in general

I would not say that's specific to studio but rather than the person having sources there, for example EPD games almost never leaks, even with localization and stuff.

There was a direct that leaked in 2015/2016 I believe. It was a folder which showed all the 3DS announcements. It was hilarious.

The leak looks rough because it has a very unfinished UI, no 2D art for characters, basically no background to speak of... It's just a very early build with no polish. If it's real, it'll be cool to compare with the finished product, which I assume will look very different.

I mean the leaker did say that it was an early build that everyone dooming in the subreddit seemed to have completely glossed over.

It was the Switch Presentation in 2017, the whole Presentation was leaked on 4Chan irc..

Most of the people I see mad about the leak are mad because of the mc's "stupid hair". The game could look 100x better at reveal and I'm pretty sure they'd still hate the mc's hair.

yep, before Switch Presentation. It was because the person was working on Switch setup for these events that were happening across the US so that's why it was leaked.

I've seen people still call Emily a liar and that this is a bootleg fake Chinese game. At this point I'm just choosing not to interact with fe fans anymore. Seems like they're all going through the 5 stages of grief.

Perfect. Ten years ago, xenoblade and FE were nothing. And frankly, they know there is a demand for games like FZero and Star Fox. One day - even if not in the really near future - they'll hear the fans of both series.

Do somebody know if something else has been known about the possible port of mass effect legendary collection to switch? The last thing I saw was that the team would want to port it, but it should be after finish working on the PS4/Xbox versions, but I don't know if there is more info about it.

I hope we see Kingdom Come during the upcoming Nintendo Direct. It's one of those games I did not expect on Switch and I'm really curious to play it.

How can it be structured like two games that are structurally very different? Some people are really bad at this "fake leak" thing.
 
On a different note, Silksong fans keep getting the shaft. Why not leak the Silksong date rather than blurry Fire Emblem screenshots? The former would make a lot of people happy, whereas the latter has ushered in chaos, anger, and arguments. Shame on you, leakers of the world.
 
I know I am in the minority when I say this but after playing Odyssey's 2D sections I just wanna play a EPD Tokyo 2D game where they go crazy with gameplay, themes, mechanics.

So if it is true that they are developing a Donkey Kong game please let it be 2D :(
