Posted a question here over the slow weekend that I'm gonna reshare on this page if that's okay:
I had a day 1 cart of Pokémon Sword that of course got the 2.8gb expansion update. Later I bought the game+DLC cart which comes with version 1.3.0?

It still forces me to download all the updates I ever got on the original cartridge. I know this is a thing on Switch but does anyone know a workaround so it will recognize the new cart is 1.3.0 and I can save the 2.8gb of space?

It even continued doing this when I transferred everything to the OLED, which me surprised me. That thing never had my original base game cartridge in it.

It's a bit like the Fiat Multipla from way back. Got attention for being fugly, which drove interest.

* googles "fiat multipla" *
* does a quick puke *
That thing is amazing, I would totally drive it for the lulz

Fiat Multipla is one of the ugliest cars I’ve seen

In an European market with so many fantastic vehicles, Fiat decided on releasing that

Ehhh does that mean it’s jump scare heavy?

Onimusha definitely has a some of those, but far fewer than Resident Evil 1/2/3. You’re generally expected to fight rather than run in Onimusha, so generally it’s more about creepy enemies ambushing your character than jump scares per se.

I have also returned from my gaming of Elden Ring. I'm 50 hours in right now, while I'm loving the game, a lot of things need to be tweaked.
1. The input lag and buffer is horrible.
2. Hitbox issues
3. Progressing through main path very obtuse sometimes.
4. Almost got a softlock on Radhan's festival.
5. FromSoftware camera 😔😔😔
6. Game on PC has a serious lag spike which can disable your buttons on your controller.

Other than that I'm really loving the game.

I also hope they fix the loot. 95% of it is worthless for my build. And no, I don't want to respec.

I get that Elden Ring isn't a traditional "loot" game, but I only upgraded my gear twice during my 80+ hour playthrough and the first upgrade was at the 50 hour mark and that felt shitty af, man.

Just finished Stranger of Paradise. It was silly, dumb fun, but very well executed in regards of combat (arguably better than Elden Ring). It's a nice reminder to the fact that every game doesn't need to be a "prestige game". Games like that are becoming more and more rare on the PlayStation, and I hope it'll be a sleeper hit and maybe start a new trend, and that it'll get ported on the Drake as well so everyone here can enjoy it.
Honestly the melee combat is better than elden ring i went with a paladin esque build so i relied on Ashes of war and incantations as the melee combat is juat okay but SOP feels much beefier

Stuff like this makes me a bit scared to play the game, to be honest.

The Dark Souls games, imo, didn't have this problem. Bloodborne did, and it really hurt exploration. There are very few weapons at all in that game and chances are they're not going to fit your build because they have to cover such widely different builds with such a limited weapon pool (the DLC apparently makes this a lot better, but who cares?). Sekiro didn't have this problem, because that's not the kind of game it was (you only get one weapon afaik).

Guess I'll find out when I get to Elden Ring soon enough. Honestly even though I bought it, I don't plan to get to it for another week at least.

Sekiro was definitely better in this regard. In Elden Ring you rely on blacksmiths A LOT more because you are going to be upgrading that one sword a ton.

Then again, I went full melee this time around (still summoning spirits though), so ymmv. This was also pre-patch, so I dunno how it will change things (maybe some weapons and skills will be more viable?)

I know have plans to contact a neurologist for my headache issue. Just have to make some phone calls.

Also put on my glasses back on for the first time in a while. Headaches have made it difficult to wear them but I want to get used to them again

Good luck mate ! I hope a neurologist can be helpful for your headaches. If you have never tried it, they may try to prescribe you some triptans, it's very helpful when you have some strong and debilitating headaches

Hopefully they will if that’s the case. I’ve been hesitant to really play much due to worry over headaches. Some days are better than others and I’ve been trying to find the motivation to start dying light for switch

What's great about Game Pass is that it let's me try games I never would have tried otherwise. Probably the only way I'll ever give Stranger of Paradise a go is if it comes to Game Pass (PC).

Organising my Switch library into groups made me realise I am still waiting for that Katana ZERO DLC.
Every time I think I must have missed it. It's easy to forget about DLC after a while. Having a folder for it sounds like a useful way to keep track!

y'all worrying about stranger of paradise when you should be worrying about not being a stranger to your grandparents and call them once in a while if you want to reach paradise

I'm being audited by the state I used to live in for my 2018 taxes claiming that I didn't file any taxes with them that year. Well I didn't file taxes with them because I moved in 2017. I called the tax office and the lady says that they don't even know who gets the audit. She tells me that it's an automated system that tries to detect people who might not have paid. In my case, it's because my bank (which has locations across the country) had my old address in its system. So now I need to get my tax returns from my current state and send them to my old state to verify that I did in fact file with another state.

Fuck these algorithms. Computers make things easier while also creating problems in other ways.

Three of them were cremated, I can't even visit their graves! My grandmother's ashes were scattered into ocean in her hometown Brest, France, though. I might visit there when I find some time to.

It seems like a Silksong situation where the DLC is turned into a proper sequel
I think the last update on it was that the DLC is roughly half the size of the base game. But that was early last year, so I would not even be surprised at this point.

This is definitely on my anticipated list for next anime season next month, Ya boy Kongming! Looks really fun. Ancient tatican gets reborn/teleported inyo modern day Shibuya and becomes the manager of a budding singer

I once did my taxes rather early, getting them out of the way and thinking everything was all good. Months later I got a super official letter from the IRS stating in BIG BOLD LETTERS that if I didn't pay what I owed, I'd be in MASSIVE trouble and get audited/fined/the whole nine/lots of scary wording. I freaked out and flipped the page, thinking I somehow screwed up my taxes and I was in deep shit... only to see that there had been a minor change in my taxes and I now owed the IRS a grand total of $1.13. $1.13! Don't you have better things to do, IRS? I'm pretty sure it cost you more to print and mail that letter to me than $1.13.
