I'm with you there about not caring for rollback netcode. It's probably my age, but for me playing co-op/versus in fighting games and beat 'em ups is best in-person, side-by-side with your opponent/teammate. Anyway I'll also be picking up P4AU when it's in sale.Kind of tempted to get P4AU, since it seems to be running well. I'm not going to play online anyway, so idgaf about lack of rollback netcode.
Though I reckon it will go on sale within a couple of months, so I might wait it out until then.
I love Final Fantasy Tactics, it was second favorite isometric SRPG after Tactics Ogre (both however have gone down a peg with Triangle Strategy). However I hated when those Zodiac Stones and the demons began to take prominence in the story. It pretty much went "remember all those back-stabbing machinations those characters were engaged in? Well guess what it was because they were possessed!" Personally I prefer the more down-to-earth political story of TriStrat.Triangle Strategy's story so far is fine (I'm on Chapter 9), but it's been pretty... safe, I guess? Fairly predictable, and nothing's really happened yet that kicked it up a few notches. I'd rank it as medium but well-executed, so far. But I'm not the biggest fan of political stories, or at least stories where the politics and intrigue is the main driving factor. Final Fantasy Tactics has tons of politics in it as well, but what really separates it in my book is the added wrinkle of the supernatural demonic stones, ancient hidden secrets, and how the stones/gods/high fantasy elements mesh along with the backstabby politics. Adding in more magic, ancient evils, gods, demons, or in general just making the events more batshit and having more crazy plot twists is what I love in stories.
And I agree 1000% about Final Fantasy Tactics. It remains the prime example of customization and party building in a tactics game, at least to me. FETH goes some of the way there by letting you choose the development path of everyone, but the sheer amount of options, classes, and cool stuff you can do in FFT hasn't been beaten to this day. Plus it's just so incredibly addicting.
I usually make a sandwich out of leftover spaghetti, does that count? For anyone that might be playing 13 Sentinels for the first time, you have to ask yourself, does the thought of noodles inside a sandwich sound appealing to you?
I hope they do since the unofficial Zelda mangas were pretty decent all things considered. Even the unreleased Arms stuff looked pretty nice from the previews we saw. It’s why I want Nintendo to start building up an anime studio or acquiring one or even work with a studio like KyoAni, Clover Works and the like for some high quality stuff. I guess we’ll see what the Mario movie entails and if that opens more doors in the future. It's true that Nintendo never used the anime medium to promote anything, unfortunately.
Fire Emblem seems like the one of Nintendo's series that could benefit the most of it.
With Square Enix doing it with TWEWY and Nier, I expect more publishers (and maybe one day Nintendo) to do the same.
Dragalia Lost to time.
Would be neat if the IP could make it to Switch in some way.

I bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition over the weekend because getting ready to move country with a chronic illness is hard work and I'm gonna be living alone for the first time in a couple of years so I've got Mass Effect as a Immersive Distraction when fatigue and homesickness strike.
Woop woop vidyagames
Excellent taste. I'll be getting your first 3 games too.
Honestly the strategy part is not even that important to me. It is really cool storywise. I believed I played the game pure on easy and focused on the story and it is an amazing experience.Incredibly excited for 13 Sentinels.
From everything I've seen and heard of it, it seems like one of those games that's a real "experience" in that it transports you to a unique world and takes you on an emotional journey.
It's the sort of game wouldn't usually be into (not really a fan of RTS or visual novel type gameplay generally) yet so much about it really appeals to me.
For me, the magic of gaming is its ability to give us experiences beyond what is possible in real life, and this game looks like an adventure well worth taking.
Yet Another Farming Game That Can't Top Stardew Valley - Review ThreadRune Factory 5 | Review Thread
Metacritic (68) OpenCritic (70) RPG Fan (90%): A game as jam-packed as Rune Factory 5 runs the risk of being overwhelming, but each facet works in tandem with the others so seamlessly that it blurs the lines between where one element ends and another begins. It spaces out the infinite...famiboards.com

To create a Group:
1. Go to All Software.
2. Press the L button to bring up Groups.
3. Press the + button to create a new Group.
4. Pick the games you want to go into the Group you're creating.
5. Arrange the game icons in the order you want them to appear in the Group.
6. Name your Group.
To view a Group:
1. Go to All Software
2. Press L button to bring up Groups.
3. Select the Group you want to view.
It takes more actions than I expected to view a Group. Not sure if people will like that. But I'll take it!
Things to note:
- A game can be in multiple groups at the same time.
- You can sort groups.
oh my god you’re aliveedit: wrong thread whoops
He also helped create the Tamagotchi. The co-creator of the Game Boy, Gunpei Yokoi, went on to create the Wonderswan.
So, if you think about it, the Game Boy and the Wonderswan are like half-brothers.
?There's a new Ghostbusters game coming from Friday the 13th devs and it's not coming to Switch. I wonder if the Switch's disappearing third party support is a sign of Switch Pro coming soon. I mean there are tons of already announced games that disappeared into thin air: Outer Wilds, Wreckfest, Kingdom Come...

Illfonic is a Switch supporter, surprised to see this one is skipping Switch. A family oriented game with crossplay. And Switch had one Ghostbusters game.?
This is literally nothing new lol. Multiplatform games either don't come to Switch or come later to Switch all the time. This isn't an indication of anything.
See you in five yearsI've created so many groups, I need folders for my groups.
No Indie World this week then ?
This title is also multiplayer focused so perhaps that played a roleIllfonic is a Switch supporter, surprised to see this one is skipping Switch. A family oriented game with crossplay. And Switch had one Ghostbusters game.
Probably, yes, I guess they wanna focus on Kirby promo this weekThe 'leak' was a lie I guess, maybe next week?

I doubt it, their other game on Switch, Friday the 13th also is a multiplayer only game. And that didn't even have crossplay. And this GB game doesn't seem to have demanding graphics at all...This title is also multiplayer focused so perhaps that played a role

About the new Ghostbusters game, it could be a potential late port
If my hair isn't greying, it's balding, but otherwise I'm alright lolMy people.
I have returned from the abyssal film industry and my abyssal, never-ending addiction to the masterpiece that is Elden Ring to hang with y'all for a while!
An 8 from EDGE for Kirby is awesome. I'm guessing the review embargo drops tomorrow? I have high hopes, low 80s MC is my prediction.
How's everyone been?
