So apparently multiple DLCs/expansions are in the works and planned to release throughout the year which includes the Answer. Also apparently FeMc will not be included in any of the expansions lol.



I wonder by the time Switch 2 releases, we get a definitive edition?

The Answer is mostly palette swaps, new enemy stat blocks and like, 6 or 7 story cutscenes all stretched out over a 30 hour dungeon crawler. Not surprised they're pushing that onto DLC, it's the most logical place to put it.

FeMC would take a lot more work than whats probably appropriate for DLC to put together. She has unique CGs, social links, story cutscenes, music and a very different outlook on the story compared to Mr. Dour. It's a shame she's not in the base game but she'd also have been basically a second game to add into the game.

Eh, not necessarily an entire whole game. They keep a lot there, especially in the main story. It's the Social Links that will require the most changes (and even then, a lot of it doesn't actually mention the gender of the protag so a lot of it can be kept).

Still, yes, it will absolutely require way more work since you have to bring every VA back for alternate lines.

Won‘t lie, for a remake, that feels kinda scummy. The game should be fully complete from the get go

Apparently for Xbox players the old New Zealand trick works so those people are playing now. As someone who owns a PS4 where it seems to be locked to a global midnight EST release I am beyond bullshit.
