I say leave it for now. Bowser's Fury is crucial.Oh I know, I cleared Champion Road on Wii U. I’m not sure I’ve got it in me to do it again honestly. At least not right now.

Got this bookmarked to listen to once I'm off my work laptop, can't wait to give this a listen haha
Everyone else has gone into good specifics, but I wanted to throw my two cents in because, well, I actually don't like the XB battle systems very much but I still love the games. And I know, it's weird that my least favorite part of one of my favorite JRPGs is the battle system, but I seriously love the world they build that damn much. The auto-attacking looks like a slog at first but eventually you'll have so many Arts (the equivalent of spells or abilities or whatever) that you'll be mostly focused on choosing and timing (and in XB2, mixing) those instead of noticing the auto-attacks.Ok famiboard. Got a question for you all. I'm really teetering on the edge of purchasing a Xenoblade game, but I'm also not sure if it's for me. I've watched lots of gameplay clips and while most of the game looks for me, I just can't get past the combat mechanics. So because of this, I'm hesitant to spend full price on a lengthy campaign in which I may never play beyond a certain point.
Now that brings me to Torna. From what I understand, Torna is a standalone game as well as a shorter experience. I also see that it's on sale for $35 CAD. Is this something that is worthwhile to test the waters of Xenoblade with? Would it be stupid to start with Torna being that it's really just an extension of another story? What are your opinions on this?
Thanks in advance.
But Xenoblade X is the best one in the seriesEveryone is welcomed to have their opinion on stuff, unless it turns into another "you are stupid if you like X" like it is from certain mods in other places
I remember when a few years back. An ex mod called Xenoblade 2 players stupid for liking the game and it was okay to admit it cause they also had moments where they had bad taste. I get the why people don’t like Xenoblade 2, good reasons.Everyone is welcomed to have their opinion on stuff, unless it turns into another "you are stupid if you like X" like it is from certain mods in other places
bonus points for implying that XC2 players are all potential sexual predators
Okay I prefer 1 to 2 but even I'll admit the music in 2 blows the original away.Another one was that throwaway tracks in Xenoblade 1 was better then anything in Xenoblade 2. Music taste is subjective but this opinion screamed more that they were upset at the amount of praise the music was getting over the original.
I've been working on champion's road since yesterday, died probably 20-30 times and have not made it past the second area. I'm actually curious how many attempts this will take so I'm gonna keep trying.I rolled credits on 3D World. What a fun game! Now I gotta decide if I wanna push on to Champion’s Road or start Bowser’s Fury..
Champion's Road and Bowser's Fury will probably take you about the same amount of time if you're rusty, lolI rolled credits on 3D World. What a fun game! Now I gotta decide if I wanna push on to Champion’s Road or start Bowser’s Fury..
Personally, I found Jake Hunter to be very predictable and boring. The Missing has some jank to it , but I enjoyed the story and my overall time with it.Any thoughts on The Missing or Alternate Jake Hunter? Both are currently on deep discount on the eShop.
I'm embarrassed that my profile stats on Switch expose me as only having played 4 hours, I haven't shut up about this game for years now. But Happy Home Paradise and BDSP took over because other people are playing those and so it's been more of a social thing.
Me and my friends used to mix Pepsi and milk together when we were kids! We called it "Tea 2", and that name should tell you exactly how revolutionary we expected the mixture to be...Because the Star Fox Zero thread was bumped I went and got the Wii U plus Star Fox out of storage.
Yes. Do it.Inside and Limbo are currently on sale for £1.79 each. Should I bite?

being a western dq fan do be like thatDaily reminder that DQX offline is coming out on the Switch on February in Japan, and we still don't know if it's coming to the west
What's worse than DQX not being localized is that DQ Heroes 1+2 on Switch is not localized despite both DQ Heroes 1 and DQ Heroes 2 on other platforms being fully localized.Daily reminder that DQX offline is coming out on the Switch on February in Japan, and we still don't know if it's coming to the west
I would not play Torna before you play Xenoblade 2. I think a lot of the story in Torna will have less of an impact if you haven't played XC2 and it will also spoil some of XC2 if you decide to play it later.
I would play Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition first, then Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and then Torna.
It is also perfectly fine to play XC2 then Torna then XCDE. But I would never start with Torna.
Today I learned Kirbys air ride was a n64 game originally
I mean that actually got a release in Japan and wasn’t retooledSo was Animal Crossing.

You’re about to enjoy the game of the generation. Criminally under-recognized game in discussions of best of the bests given its quality.Payday on Friday... I'm taking advantage of this sale and finally buying Divinity OS2 (among other things)

TWEWY was also a bolt of lightning for the Square fans at a time when creatively the company was kinda floundering with XIII being seriously underwhelming to most, Versus was in development hell, Kingdom Hearts was dragging its heels getting to the 3rd game, and the only other major release was Last Remnant. Those were dark days but the DS had this little ray of hope on it which seemed kinda odd but was probably the most inventive game the company had put out in a while (and that’s still kinda the case 13 years later). But real talk: in the 13 years since I played the original, the urgency a TWEWEY sequel would conceivably garner from me fell precipitously every year. If this game came out in like 2011/2012 on 3DS, it would have been a Day One Purchase for me. In 2021? Yeah, I'll get it on sale I guess.
I actually bought XB2 Collector's Edition on day one!Sounds like you're on it
Only thing I can add to that list is buying Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now on sale on the eShop
Thanks bud, I hope so too. Got a few birthdays for my friends all despairing 30 to celebrate coming up and I'd hate to have to cancel on all of them and miss out on sowing all the chaos hahaCold is never good, hope it goes away soon
Honestly the honey ginger tea is legitimately delicious and it's taking every ounce of strength not to go through my entire supply in just three days lmaoI was expecting you to say, "These are a few of my favourite things." (Though I don't know The Sound of Music very well.)
