saying that Tim Hortons is trash is exactly as Canadian as saying that Tim Hortons is greatTimmie's is trash, that much is true, but it's our trash.
Most of my personal concept of "Canadian identity" revolves less around Tim Hortons and more around actually having healthcaresaying that Tim Hortons is trash is exactly as Canadian as saying that Tim Hortons is great
it IS trash but itโs EFFECTIVE trash
and I will never get over how funny it is that it holds such a huge block of the bizarre Canadian identity jockeying no matter which megacorp in which country buys it out (while doubling down on the canada branding)
I always forget that there actually is a part of north america that is somewhat reasonable. Most of my personal concept of "Canadian identity" revolves less around Tim Hortons and more around actually having healthcare
We did this in elementary, too. I think we even had like a 'daily caterpillar helper' or something whose job was to take care of it. I don't remember what exactly you DO for that, other than toss in some lettuce or something? But it was super cool when the butterfly eventually emerged!Caterpie evolved into Metapod! Our Fluffy has reached the chrysalis stage.
Knowing the creator of Pokemon was a bug catcher, I bet this is where the idea for evolutions came from.

I donโt have an answer but I do have this questionis time on frog island any good? it's on deep discount rn
what . . . . . the fuck . . . . . . . . do those two things have to do with each other . . . ? ? ?If YouTube could stop recommending me fucking Matt Walsh videos when I look up the Lord of the Rings soundtrack that would be much appreciated.
I wish you luck! I never really got into master mode, trying it is what made me realize that while I love BOTW, it's not really because of the combat.Itโs probably almost time to start my Master Mode playthrough of BotW
EA be like: "Oh yeah remember that sequel to one of our most critically acclaimed games in the past decade? Remember how we created a super successful spin-off from that? With really good gameplay and stuff? Yeah we don't care just cancel it"
Love it! Dock should be bisexual lighting modeAlright so
The Future Hardware thread was talking special editions and it gave me a slight idea and I just ran with it but I'm not sure the final product is quite up to standard... but like I put so much time into it that now I gotta share it so it's not time wasted soooooo even though I feel like I coulda/shoulda done a lot better here it is anyway:
yes, it was my intent to show love to both Light and Dark Theme users.
I think the joycons kinda sucked all the creativity outta my brain because by the time I started fiddling with the dock I just didn't know what to do.
neither does Nintendo!I think the joycons kinda sucked all the creativity outta my brain because by the time I started fiddling with the dock I just didn't know what to do.
Rune Factory 5 is considerably shorter and easier then 4 i enjoyed both of them because i'm a huge fan of the series. But RF4 is probably a smoother and longer experience. So does anyone know what Rune Factory someone should start out with on Switch? I was really interested in playing 5, it was one of those scenarios for me where I wanted 4 on 3ds for the longest time but didn't pull the trigger because it usually wasn't available or wasn't on sale. But when 5 came out I saw it was a bit divisive with both fans and critics, and mostly just that it was kind of buggy. No idea if it's better now.
I feel like Rune Factory is one of those series where two entries, 3 and 4, are about as equally beloved, even if 4 is more popular. But also, I have no idea if they fixed 5, and in general I think I kind of like the presentation of that one. So I don't know which to pick : ( Does anyone have any suggestions for a newcomer?
Can D brand skins make this a reality?Alright so

Hereโs the breakdown:So does anyone know what Rune Factory someone should start out with on Switch?
It really isHi-Fi RUSH is amazing, yโall.
Oof, stay toasty! Yeah itโs a bit more of a niche month but if youโre in the niche that wants all those RPGs and TFBL then itโs a pretty insane month, especially for February of all monthsGreat ST @SammyJ9! My heater broke so it's nice to have at least one cozy place.
When it comes to gaming this month is packed for me. A new entry in my favorite rhythm series (Theatrhythm Final Bar Line), a remaster of an old favorite (Tales of Symphonia), a sequel to the game that brought new attention to Team Asano (Octopath Traveler II), and a sequel to a DRPG that caught me by surprise (Labyrinth of Galleria). If this was all that was coming to Switch this year I would be satisfied, but there is still plenty more on the horizon.
Rune Factory 5 is considerably shorter and easier then 4 i enjoyed both of them because i'm a huge fan of the series. But RF4 is probably a smoother and longer experience.
Ok, thank you guys. I think I'll try RF4!Hereโs the breakdown:
tl;dr If youโre a newcomer to the series and looking to convince yourself itโs worth playing, definitely get RF4.
- Rune Factory 4 is the best Rune Factory game. Snappy gamefeel, lots of dialogue, a cornucopia of QoL features, itโs basically the most complete realization of Rune Factoryโs gameplay concepts.
- Rune Factory 3 falls behind in features compared to 4, but it still is a modern Rune Factory so itโs not that hard to go back to it. It has my favorite cast in the series and that I would say is the main reason to play itโ everyone, especially the marriage candidates, have a screw or two loose.
- Rune Factory 5 has better presentation but the technical problems damage the snappiness the series is known for. I also felt like the writing in this game was quite a bit weaker than previous entries. It still is very much a Rune Factory game and is enjoyable for that, but in a lot of ways itโs a regression from RF3 and 4.
Ah yes I saw... the happiness of seeing Robin vs. the depression of Felix likely being third again
What did you think? Do you like them?

My copies of Zelda: The Minish Cap and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance arrived in the mail yesterday. Slowly, but surely, I'm building back my GB/A library that my idiot 14-year-old self sold off to buy DS games.
Now I still need to kick my 20-year-old self in the ass for selling the DS games to buy 360 and 3DS games smh my head.
I've had to sell a lot of my physical games over the years because of repeated moves. It was necessary but a shame; especially now that stuff like the Analogue Pocket exists.
I had Ages with the manual and a boxed copy of Seasons with its manual. I got a great price for them a few years ago, but still... at least I rescued the VC ROMs from my 3DS, so I can use them if I ever do get a Pocket.I found my old as fuck copy of LOZ: Oracle of Ages last month when I was at my parents' for Christmas and I almost cried. It's the only game I still have from when I was a kid.
