I had the 15th off and everything, now we’ll see I guesssince I have to put time off 3 days in advance it would sure be nice to know the day....
You know I did. Some have, yes.
A game I never said was coming last year (only that I had heard talk a game was in development) & hardware that developers have in-hand & are working with.yeah, sure, I can't wait to play the new donkey kong and my switch pro that i got last year
yup, I had the 14th in a couple weeks ago assuming... I don't mind if its not next week, would just like to atleast have a LITTLE advance knowledge on a date hahaI had the 15th off and everything, now we’ll see I guess
Why can’t they just announce early
Ah yes here they comeyeah, sure, I can't wait to play the new donkey kong and my switch pro that i got last year
I'm on vacation next week, so it better happen then!
In some catholic countries, the 16th is a holiday, Corpus Christi. Do you guys think Nintendo cares enough about this?
Rip.It isn't the 14th.
Practice patience.
I think Nintendo just wants to do nothing anymore that they can't control themselves. Corporate marketing interests above everything.Damn. What did Geoff do to Nintendo that wants nothing near him lol.
Well, in some it is. Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Poland, parts of Spain and Germany...I live in a catholic country and it's the first time I hear about that holiday
I was about to say perhaps they just want more globally situated events and announcements but... yeah that one hurt in the face of such a dev-first event.Hell, they didn't even let Metroid Dread's developers give a speech at The Game Awards
there’s only 3 weeks of the month left anyways we’re civilized (maybe)A game I never said was coming last year (only that I had heard talk a game was in development) & hardware that developers have in-hand & are working with.
And with that any further Direct timing I'm done giving. It's June. Be patient. Go play games.

Furthermore, it's clear as day to leave him the heck alone lolEveryone is guilty of confirmation bias. Looking for anything to confirm like these couple of games. When Nate has to tell you to be patient over and over it’s clear as day that it’s not coming until late June.
Yeah, I could hear someone at Nintendo going:I was about to say perhaps they just want more globally situated events and announcements but... yeah that one hurt in the face of such a dev-first event.
Thank you for your infos Nate! I appreciate the fact that you ruled out the 14A game I never said was coming last year (only that I had heard talk a game was in development) & hardware that developers have in-hand & are working with.
And with that any further Direct timing I'm done giving. It's June. Be patient. Go play games.
I don’t know, I think we would attract a bit too much attention to Nate and people would piggyback of it. Lets keep it lowkeyyes
Nintendo Direct Speculation |ST2| Fami's Summer Gameguess
Remember the old press conferences when they out business slides in the middle of the shows? They need to bring that back!famiboards.com
@Sadist could we maybe threadmark Nates predictions like these to help?
Fair point!I don’t know, I think we would attract a bit too much attention to Nate and people would piggyback of it. Lets keep it lowkey
not sure I get the 2014 E3 reference. They basically doing the same thing and controlling their narrative lol.I think Nintendo just wants to do nothing anymore that they can't control themselves. Corporate marketing interests above everything.
Like, right in this thread we can see that the instant they don't have an industry-mandated time to 'show their Direct', they go back to making everyone wait until right before for a Direct to know about it. Back in 2014 they were one of the biggest presences at E3, now it's like they don't even exist in the wider industry.
Hell, they didn't even let Metroid Dread's developers give a speech at The Game Awards
The Game Awards is not a dev-first event; if it was they wouldn't be shoving so many awards to the side in order to give more focus to ads and musical numbers.I was about to say perhaps they just want more globally situated events and announcements but... yeah that one hurt in the face of such a dev-first event.
Nate the mateFurthermore, it's clear as day to leave him the heck alone lol
Get a load of this lmaoyeah, sure, I can't wait to play the new donkey kong and my switch pro that i got last year
Mmm fair. For the devs that did get camera time it was nice to hear their perspective. The show needs a lot of work of course but of the awards shown, Bowser was the outlier as a suit. The Game Awards is not a dev-first event; if it was they wouldn't be shoving so many awards to the side in order to give more focus to ads and musical numbers.
Uh ohI don't think there's any reason to panic about June 15. Unless Keighley has Neon White. Then it's time to panic.
as always your predictions are on point lmaoUh oh
Imagine a direct that talked about metroid prime 4 for 20 minutes peddling the same exact amount of info we already haveSGF is making me realize how much I appreciate Nintendo Direct's pacing. Good lord that dragged on for forever
(volume warning)Oh well.
I admit that my relentless faith seems to have hit a bit of a snag.
I would love it if more time was given to developers and their voices during TGA, but for now I'm have no issue with Nintendo treating it like the farce it is and giving it the bare minimum.Mmm fair. For the devs that did get camera time it was nice to hear their perspective. The show needs a lot of work of course but of the awards shown, Bowser was the outlier as a suit.
Youtuber tanked his own career by leaking an embargo for Neon White at 9AM PT on June 15th because the email didn't have an NDA to sign. What is going on? What is Neon White? Why is it causing so much Nintendooming? I'm very confused.
