Since I was banned and couldn't explain myself.
...
I'm only advocating for a little scepticism. Or perhaps even a bunch of it.
That's all I have to say on the matter.
Hey I hear ya. I don't think you shoulda been banned for the comment I skimmed across. "Being cynical", while often it might not be productive perse, is an insufficient reason to ban someone in the context of i.e. what was expressed, where it was said and the when it was said.
Particularly in this space, where a lot of folks express cynical opinions on a variety of topics on a daily basis and
especially during a Direct cooldown period.
If anything, I would encourage you to inquire with mods on the ban decision if for no other reason than get an explanation of why and maybe even having that discussion helps to improve their ability to evaluate situations. Because its certainly a thankless job, and it is understandable if sometimes the best decision was not made when viewed in retrospect. (Which reminds me ... thanks mods, we know its a thankless job!)
Now all that said, gonna be Captain Obvious and point out that getting too high or too low on speculation will often not end well.
So the best bet may well be to take speculation with a grain of salt. Engage with it as much as you feel comfortable, while also keeping in mind that for some folks they are maybe wired to enjoy the speculative talk and thats fine for them! Indeed this is a suitable space for that sort of banter.
For instance, just to explain how my brain works, my ... I guess "trust level"/"threshold of disappointment" ... is in a different place than others wrt to info from fellow Fami-members like a NateDrake. Thats OK, I'm just doing me! For whatever reasons that are mine, I generally consider statements from him to be fairly likely to come true, and I proceed to enjoy banter surrounding it. Now he could be wrong, I could be wrong. Its all good, this board is the space to engage in both the exuberance and the skepticism.

Now heres where I'm at with FE post-Direct.
That Direct opener looked like a High Quality Video Game. I loved hearing the music and the actors and it looks like it has fairly lush production value. I think the concept makes sense, and I'm happy that the original game had a strong enough reception to spur a project like this, which exists for fans. I liked
Three Houses overall and will probably enjoy seeing and discussing more about the game going forward.
I will also probably never play it, as musous have not yet been able to get hooks into me. What little time I spent w/ the first FE Warriors was a bit underwhelming.
I
also believe 100% Intelligent Systems is very hard at work on various
Fire Emblem things.
When it comes, I am not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if another announcement happened this year. And If it doesn't come in 2022, I will be even
more convinced we will get something in 1st half 2023. I think an
Echoes title is the more likely to come before a brand-new mainline game, but the rumours say otherwise. In fact they say BOTH are well into their dev cycles @-@
I know I'm slingin' hopes and dreams here but dang thats fun! (for me)
