I don’t think his tweet is BotW 2. Wording is just odd to fit Nintendo making a Game Awards trailer mid 2019 to keep working at it to have ready 2 years later. He talks about “sharing this work”. It feels like a brand new game that’s unknown.

Of course Nintendo knows one day they would show BotW 2 off at the Game Awards.

Yeah but he and Nintendo would not have been working together on the BotW2 trailer for 2.5 years. I could see him saying that about an unannounced game that he negotiated the exclusive reveal deal for back when development started, but not for just a trailer.

I think a big store was giving it away with a Switch purchase. If they were giving away a code instead of a physical copy, then that could explain it I guess. Either way, the game deserves the sales.

Pokemon Sleep domain now redirects to the official Pokemon site.

I think it would be a good way to close off the anniversary celebrations and to give a big push to Legends. We are at around 1 trailer/month since August and the last one was in October.
 
I don't think that tease is for Zelda, but god I hope Nintendo shows up with something for The Game Awards. I know we just had a September Direct a few months ago, but it feels like a while since we've heard from them.

I also just realized Advance Wars was supposed to come out this Friday... pain. Happy to wait in order to get the best game possible, but still.

Yeah, I definitely don’t believe this is Nintendo related. It could be any company big or small. I’m sure Geoff will preface the trailer by saying “I flew out to ____ and we’ve worked on this trailer for 2.5 years. This is special to my heart. Please take a look”.

We’ll get something from Nintendo, but not related to this tweet.

I dont think it's Zelda either - it could very well be present at the TGA but this tweet probably isnt what it refers to.

However Elden Ring was the big thing during summer fest - not sure it would have the same WOW factor this time. If we hadnt seen gameplay of Elden Ring I would agree - but I feel we've seen a lot of stuff already and with there was the beta test as well.

I was expecting an overview trailer in December 2 months prior Arceus release but now with Pokémon Sleep, It could potentially be a new Pokémon present just before the end of the 25th anniversary..

I really don't expect much from Nintendo this year. Smash is over and bigger stuff will most likely wait.
 
Smash was announced to be at TGA last year the day before the show. Most Nintendo/Nintendo-adjacent reveals aren’t teased beforehand.

Yeah with the beta test footage out and some people having actually played the game in the beta, an Elden Ring trailer just wouldn't really be a huge deal anymore

That lack of wow factor would kinda fit with The Game Awards perfectly then.
 
Oh man, 13 Sentinels I've wanted to play for a very long time. Happy to finally see it arrive on Switch.

Hopefully with a retail release

After 7 long years single, I am single no longer, thanks in part to the power of gaming.

A few months ago I met this wonderful girl online; we're both huge geeks and Switch gamers, and we bonded over our mutual love of games like Monster Hunter Rise, Bayonetta 2, and Astral Chain. It broke the ice by giving us a mutual hobby to talk about.

Our city was in an extended lockdown at the time so we couldn't meet at first and spent the first two months just chatting online, but yesterday we had our 4th date and I asked if she wanted to take things further and make us official. She said yes.

I am over the moon; she's kind, smart, funny, gorgeous, and completely accepting and understanding of the fact I am autistic and have OCD, which are often deal breakers for people. I feel so incredibly blessed and can't wait to see where this goes.

Phew, sorry for the diary entry, was just busting to share haha.

I watched it last night, was cool to hear the crew on the original episode and the interview with Richard Epcar was great, I didn’t know he was voice director of Lupin since the original English localization(the whole story of him getting the role of Jigen was pretty cool too)
