Not straight away but will get it on the successor day one. Luckily Larian are big Nintendo fans and they'll definitely make the port happen. played all four Baldur's Gate games and Divnity on portable Switch lite and I ain't going back.
 
I shall be participating in EVO this weekend. On the offchance something Nintendo related is announced, I'll let you know how the audience reacted.

And as someone with a current 21-loss streak in SF6 and worse in the other categories. You know I'll beat everyone no sweat! :p

Bought the game yesterday and have it downloading now. Not played much Baldurs Gate before but I enjoyed what I played of Divinity Original Sin 2 so I’m looking forward to trying Baldurs Gate 3 out.

I loved Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 ... so i kinda want to play 3.

But i would want to play it on PC. Feels like a PC game to me.

Buuuuut i don't have a suitable PC for gaming anymore .... so that's that.

Audience might be reactionless, but King of Fighters XIII shadow drop there sounds plausible. Maybe SNK could announce more Switch releases? They are now related to Nintendo anyway.

Yeah that's possible. Though I'm gonna hold out hope for a Mark of the Wolves 2 Switch announcement with the trailer I'm willing into existence.
 
Darn it, I was gonna stop but I don’t have an evening game going yet so I wound up starting SMB LL(AS). Already got all but one shared badge. Which means I may as well do OG SMB as well. Least they aren’t long. Sigh I should start AI Somnium files. I’m out of picross games I own

Nice tho tho the only surprise reveal on the schedule was confirmed to be NASB2 so I wouldn’t have high hopes for much. That and I worry they’ll be as obscure on platforms as a Sony press conference this year

One of the best games I've played this year. I think alot of people avoided it because the initial trailer leaned into the horror rather than the thriller pacing of the actual game. Best VN of the year for $16 is a steal...

Considering how split screen works in the game and they are having problems with the Series S, Im not sure BG3 on Switch 2 is possible.
 
Dragon Ball FighterZ is the next trial for NSO - I hope this means that arc system works could have something for Switch at EVO, either a port of GG Strive or maybe something new they announce.

Larian didn't port Divinity themselves, they won't do Baldur's Gate 3 either. A specialized port studio will and they'll optimize it to hell and back. We've got tons of ports of games on Switch that struggled on other home consoles.

Not at all, you could probably make a lot of stuff up and I'd believe you without thinking twice, no matter how absurd.
For example, if you said that he dates real human women in a game, or that there's an evil edgy sonic that uses real human guns and has wheels on his sneaker.... I would not question a word.

Considering Iizuka infamously said "everything is canon," meaning every cartoon, every comic book, every game, every spin-off, I have to admit that despite my profile pic, I'm probably not versed at all. That's a lot of content over the past 30 years. 😅
 
Thinking about ditching my consoles and getting a gaming laptop. My internet situation is so bad that a desktop wouldn't be practical and my Xbox in particular has been giving me severe issues lately with games just not installing.

With a laptop I could mooch off of other WiFi sources versus waiting for my 3mbps service to download 100GB+ games over 10-14 days.

Stuff like this is why the thought of an all-digital future kinda freaks me out
 
I already bought Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam, but I’m not gonna have access to my PC til I get back from Europe. And I still have Pikmin 4 to get back to! And Armored Core 6 is looming on the horizon AHHHHH
 
Anybody here played Infernax? The game looks fun but the price somehow holds me back to impulse buy it.

Im just saying don't automatically expect BG3 will happen on Switch 2, just be happy if it does. Im playing it right now on Steam and the game is massively more bigger and technically expanded than D:OS 2.

It's very good and fun, and there are multiple routes depending on your actions and the last update added co-op and switching between 2 characters

Nice! Sounds good. It has a cool Castlevania kinda vibe about it which looks really cool!
 
I’m working in the Children’s Hospital lab today, and they have a “kitten cam” TV in there that’s just live streaming the kitten room the hospital has for kids to see and sometimes play with. So at any time I can just look up and see kittens playing and/or sleeping.

This needs to be a thing literally everywhere.

I did it, I got through the hell known as SMB the lost levels! All the way through world D. Just got SMB itself left. Mainly cause I don’t have a way to play SML. Well and the SMA eggs but I’m taking my time on those.

This didn’t post earlier so here’s a fake edit: almost done with SMB, 2 levels left of hard mode!

Funny story, when I decided to finally get a protector on my Switch I went to a store in the city that had good ones.. the friendly fella in the store offered to do it for me so it would sit on nicely.

He failed, 3 times in a row - after his third attempt he discovered they were all out so I got my money back and had to order online. I couldnt help but laugh, not at his face.. but the entire trip home was a blast.
 
I hate screen protectors. There is always air going in creating bubbles and the sides get dirty. I go for full covers wether they're phones, tablets or handhelds.
 
I’ve had good luck with Spigen’s protectors for screens, the newest ones come with a plastic guide to make the installation about as foolproof as you can get.

Or that moment when you put it perfectly and just at the last nanosecond a particle of dust flyes and you have that little bubble, mocking at you everytime you see your screen
