Man, the market for portable audio devices is really dead isn't it? Either you get premium walkmans from Sony with streaming bullshit for like €3700,- (not kidding) or crappy €50,- brands with like @GB and no FLAC support. There is almost no middle market where you can get like a premium feel MP3 player for like €120,- anymore. Sucks. I really want a dedicated music player :(

It’s a bit pricey (around 350$), but a friend recently got a Sony NW-A306 to review it and it’s apparently very good, and runs on Android so you can download streaming apps as well. But if you don’t wanna break the bank, I’d just buy an old device that have good sound and can read lossless music and call it a day. I still use my iPod Nano 7 when I have to do long flights and it works like a charm.
 
Watching this video on the SMB version of Hudson for PS-88 I didn't even know existed and man, this is something.... 😂

Elden Ring on Deck is quite convenient, even though it makes it a bit harder to appreciate From's great art design, I'd say.

I’d say it adds an extra layer of appreciation for me. Like, playing it docked at 720p with FSR still looks fantastic.

Hm, probably depends on your monitor as well, but I get what you mean. I was mostly talking about undocked gameplay, so appreciating all of the details on the smaller screen becomes quite difficult for me. It does indeed look very good at lower resolutions, no debating that. FSR does give it a more stylised look even, I'd say, due to the higher contrast. (More Animeee xD)
 
Is anyone else hyped for “Princess Peach will star as the main character in a brand new game (temp)” in 2024? I am.
 
If they weren't already after BotW, i think with the numbers TotK is doing, it's now clear that Aonuma and Fujibayashi belong to the same group of creatives at Nintendo that can do whatever they want without questions asked.

Maybe they deserve promotions but I don't think, personally... anyone in the company should have that

Coming on September 28th. Hell yeah, this is gonna be nice trip to the past after finishing Risen earlier this year. Gothic 2 & 3 were also teased for Switch.

To be fair, while this name would be much longer, I don't think it would actually be that much goofier than Team Asano game names lol
 
I know I’m gonna irritate someone in here but, I’m not vibing with Tropical Freeze anywhere near as DKC 1 and especially 2.

Also the bosses go on way too long. :(

Music is good, but doesn’t hit the highs of the SNES games imo.

I am on world 4.

For context: my favorite 2D platformer in the last decade is Rayman Legends, so I’m really hoping Wonder hits a high level to that.

It's on my list of games I want to try eventually but deep down I know that I probably never will.

I'm waiting to see how the PS5 port goes, plus by then Starfield will be out so it probably won't be first on my list.

I tried Divinity Original Sin and just bounced right off it. I don't think CRPGs are for me, despite loving turn based games, RPGs, and being a Dungeon Master myself. That said, I'll probably still give Baldur's Gate 3 a try eventually.
