It's a bit selfish but I kinda hope we don't get TOTK DLC just yet.. as someone with very little free time, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of this game and it's a little overwhelming 😅

Keen to see how Everybody 1-2 reviews, you would think that if they really thought it was terrible internally that they would have just cancelled it and binned it off rather than release it
Nintendo must think that sending it out to die is probably better for their overall financials then just quietly canceling it.

The horse host’s name is rightfully getting all of the attention, but “The month after May is…September ✅ or ❌” is exactly the kind of “wild” gameplay to share with friends I’d expect from a 1-2 Switch sequel.

Also how we have not yet discussed horse host says “Hay!” to say hello lol.

this is immediately what I was drawn to

they seriously had no ideas

I've played some mediocre party games at parties that friends have brought out, that kind of dumb question is more common then you think.

that's expensive task.... more expensive than distributed it normally

I’m thankful I haven’t played one that dire before, aside from the miserable first game for like an hour I guess lol.

As someone who has had similar experiences, my personal headcanon is that a lot of party games are created under the assumption that by the time the game starts most players will be, at least, a bit tipsy.

It's funny in a still but I assume it's a test of reflexes, not so different from Brain Training stuff.

Not sure why I'm even defending it tbh.

If I had a time machine I'd go back to the Switch launch and whisper "dripped out horse" into people's ears and dip
If I had a time machine I'd go back to the Switch launch and bet all my money on sports until I was a billionaire, then I'd use my influence to make sure Nintendo makes Everybody's 1-2 Switch to complete the causality loop.

Ditto. I'm simultaneously jealous and annoyed by the people who've already sunk 100+ hours in.

I'm kind of the opposite, I'm really hoping to see dlc of the games hoping for an expansion on the style of torna and future redeemed for TotK.

nah, tell them the Switch Pro is coming in 2020, much funnier
> time traveller tells people switch pro is coming in 2020
> the public knowing this, switch sales decline faster than in our timeline ahead of rumored launch
> to encourage sales, the aula chip is used as an overclocked pro as was seemingly at one point intended
> bonus: because of the switch pro rumors, famed technologist and north american covid patient zero steve wozniak doesn't go to china and the disease's global spread is mitigated

When horse shit was leaked my first impression was that the concept was fine but the games just seemed bad. I would bet a year was enough time for them to take the feedback and go make 16 better minigames.

But I would also bet that's not what they did.

Considering that basically the Horse game is basically alredy done, do you think that is the first N published video game with no marketing budget?
It costs at least $8 a month to have a checkmark next to the twitter account that tweeted the one tweet about it

You know what is strange that Tecmo did not ressurrect the Deception series on Switch, considering the last one was for Vita
Tecmo has awful lot of franchises to resurrect. They revived Deception on Vita/Ps4 and I think they should move on to another gem of a series to bring back. Rygar? Solomon's Key? Tecmo Bowl?

They could create a proper Monster Rancher game too, after the unexpected success of Ultra Kaiju.

They shoulf at least remaster games, they have a lot great stuff, like Trapt aged wonderfully on the graphics

They figured they could have their dumb fans market the game for free and meme it all the way to selling 10 million+ copies.

Wait wait wait

I’m completely out of the Direct loop these days. But are there rumblings of a Direct soon? :0
yes there are rumblings about a direct but you could also say that there are no rumblings about a direct. which leads one to question, what is the definition of rumblings of a direct? does it mean that a direct has been rumbled about in the rumour mill? does it mean that a rumbling has occurred regarding a direct that is not so much a rumbling any more? so i ask you mr. sadist, would you like there to have been rumblings about a direct? because if that is what you like, then you can have rumblings of a direct, without even confirming it’s existence in reality. it can just be a figment of your imagination. but the best way to know if there has been any rumblings, without it being a figment of your imagination, is to check the multitude of messages that have been posted in this thread, which allude to said rumblings. rumbling.

Feels like I stumbled upon some Dark Souls-level twisted lore here.

man I prefer just making a kirby game exist just by meming it

Oh, there's rumbling all right.

The funniest shit about the back cover is that it literally reveals every single minigame, am not joking. 16 images. 16 minigames as they say on the cover. There are 2 additional images but these are just people playing the game.

and one of them is literally just a steak dinner
I know. What in the hell. They are also using the same text font as 1-2 Switch. For some reason this game feels even more bad than 1-2 Switch since it even has less minigames. This game probably started development in like 2019, there is no way it took them much more, when it was supposedly finished around 2021.
