Yah I meant it more as, If he is dumb enough to sell copies early then he belongs on Ebay with the rest of the crooked scalpers.

At least I know it wasn’t my physical copy, because my copy has now made landfall in the US. The custom made Sheikah slate sensor I have started beeping louder yesterday as it slowly gets closer to me.

I'm keeping my eyes glued to this thread throughout the coming days for any reports of leaks. As soon as it starts circulating, I'm annihilating and blocking everything marked zelda from my feeds.

That one is cool b/c if I remember correctly a version of that Direct w/o the Zelda ending was shown to the press so it really was a surprise to everyone.

I'd be very surprised if this location wasn't in the game, especially now that some form of underground is confirmed

It's a weird one for me because that area was super rich in details and had some really nice architecture design work that I'm not seeing in any of the actual gameplay footage so I'm curious to see if this stuff is there. Makes me wonder how much Nintendo could truly be hiding because that original trailer had some neat looking locations we didn't see since.

Edit: piece of advice without spoilering anything add Ocarina of Time/OOT to your blocked words, and Sages, and the Sages names.
 
Are all the previous costumes and items from BOTW that were linked to Amiibo in this as well do we know? So like the tunic from OoT, Skyward Sword, TP etc…

"Do you remember those first 20 hours of your initial Breath of the Wild playthrough? The way you felt like a little kid again captured by the magic of video games? Tears of the Kingdom feels like that, but for the whole game (and even beyond)."

Yep we may be on borrowed time at this point. At least @Irene has set a really cool TOTK kickoff thread for us where I shall probably live out my remaining days.
 
Shit.

I think I'm taking safe before unsafe and will stay off of YouTube entirely. (Which means that I have to replace the time I usually waste there with time where I'm actually going to be productive. Maybe for the better, haha.)
 
I wasn't going to, but I went back and started BOTW over again. Haven't played it in maybe 4 years. I'm glad I did - the beginning of the game is wonderful and the controls are taking me a bit more getting used to than I would've expected. I just want to play around a bit before TOTK and refamiliarize myself with how everything works so I can get that part out of the way.

Alright, this really is the end. Unistalled everything, don't really want to risk being spoiled. Just 11 days to go (maybe 10, if am lucky). See you all in the ST! It was pleasure here.

I have been waiting almost 4 years for this moment. 11 days really is nothing now. And there is a Zelda Splatfest on weekend which should keep me busy.

 
Alright, game is out there, so I’ve put the spoilers thread on ignore. Wish it had happened closer to launch and not almost 2 weeks out.
 
I hope there's still some friends who hang around this thread. It would make the wait, not as unbearable

There is a part of me that kinda wishes it was digital only at first. I know, I know it's a dumb idea that would get a LOT of backlash but it would mean everyone could go in completely blind.

This absolutely sucks.

The next 11 days of trying to stay in the dark, and beyond, because I’m going to slowly chip away at this game.

A quick little friendly reminder.....

As we get into the final weeks leading up to the release of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we are just as excited as everyone else to finally be able to play the game. We understand that many people will be sensitive about any spoilers related to the game, and we want everyone to feel good about browsing Famiboards leading up to launch.

After conversing among the team, we have decided that any and all spoilers in regards to the game will belong exclusively in the spoiler thread. There will also be only one thread for Zelda spoilers before launch. We ask that everyone use this thread for any discussion and speculation in regards to spoilers. For the record, we consider spoilers anything that has not been announced or shown by Nintendo. Anything that has already been shown in trailers or other official media is considered fair game for the main pre-discussion thread. When in doubt, please go with the spoiler thread.

Lastly, while we believe that the overwhelming majority of users here are good posters, we want to address any potential bad-faith actors. Anyone who is intentionally trying to spoil members by either posting spoilers in other threads without tags or creating threads with fake title names will be subject to moderation. They will all be handled on a case by case basis, but moderation can range anywhere from threadbans to site bans to loss of threadmaking privilages. Again, we do not expect this to come up, but we want to make everyone aware of the circumstances.
