Heads up for my Canadian friends: All for $29.99 (Reg: $79.99)

For the record, @BozPaggs and co. — this is where the dark path was heading before I made better choices

Goddammit I wish this was also in the US. I want to pick up NSMBUD.

Why is Bozpaggs getting a new avatar? Did they eat another L again?
they got a new avatar because it’s what they deserve!

plus I said I was gonna add to it months ago and then forgot

I'm not up with the latest leaks and stuff but I really hope Switch isn't replaced until 2023 at the earliest.
It feels like it still has so much unfulfilled potential and could go on to be Nintendo's greatest system ever if it gets another good 2 years or more.
Nintendo's comments about it being in the middle of its life are somewhat reassuring, but they have a habit of self-sabotage.
Anyway, just my personal opinion/anxiety.

Sitting here, pondering on the idea of if ordering NSMB Deluxe is worth $30 CAD ($24 USD)

I'd grab Paper Mario if I actually enjoyed any Paper Mario game outside the N64 one (I heavily disliked TTYD.....and I'm gonna be crucified for that XD)

For a month, I was dealing with a pulled foot muscle. After it was finally getting better, I was helping out with somethings and now it’s hurting bad again. Damn it all

Yeah botw2, dread, animal crossing, smash and all that are cool but when is pocket card jockey coming to the switch

Read via emily rodgers twitter that metroid prime 1 remaster/remake development wrapped late this summer.

Its 100% guaranteed to be a 2022 release, I guessed a late year to coincide with proper prime 20th anniversary and give metroid dread a little air to sell. Announcements could possible be at E3 with the first real Prime 4 teaser.

A 2nd half combo of M+R2, Bayo 3, Xeno 3, Metroid Prime 1 Remake and Zelda BOTW2 would melt everyones wallets lol.

it is an honor! it was kind of a rush job and the center of gravity is a tad off, but… half an hour of clone brushing out Samus bits and slightly repositioning EMMI seemed like enough for tonight

now if anyone can find me the hero image with separated layers…
Even your rush jobs are several cuts above what I could do with a full hour!

Hot take: Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl are the two best looking mainline Pokemon games on Switch and it's not even close. They would be the best looking Pokemon games on Switch as a whole if New Pokemon Snap didn't exist.

RE: Game Awards talk I missed earlier:

I'm still on the fence about BOTW2 being there, and I'm leaning toward no. Something tells me Nintendo has done enough teases of it and wants to wait until the 'big' trailer to show it again, and I don't think they'd do that at TGAs.

So my bets are:

  • Metroid Prime. It does seem to fit with Dread likely up for some awards.
  • Silksong. It's almost time for this to show up again, I can feel it. And I think it's big enough now it could be at TGAs. If not there, the early 2022 Direct.
  • Xenoblade 3. I still think it could be revealed here, although it's also likely for the early 2022 Direct

(side note: The more I'm thinking about it, the early 2022 Direct seems like it has A LOT of things that could/should be in it, huh?)

This is what ive been saying we got 2 trailers for it and one containing gameplay. Yet with something like Metroid prime 4 all we got is a animated logo for 3 seconds. I feel like it deserves to be at the game awards more than to see botw2 for the third time.

Especially if Nintendo is waiting to show off whatever the "big title hook" for BOTW2 is, I don't know if they'd to it at TGAs, I feel like they might prefer to do that in their own big show. Of course they could just show another BOTW2 teaser that doesn't reveal anything major yet, and it would still be cool, but it would kind of feel like wheel-spinning to some degree.

I could also be completely wrong and they'll show the big meaty title blowout/massive reveal trailer, and I'd love to be wrong if so.

to be fair, Metroid Existential Dread slaps and Gimp is needlessly just… difficult to use. So kudos nonetheless!

the B-side Sheevmus is what happens when something has no bones and wants out of the suit

and I’m always delighted to spread photoshopped chaos!

Appreciated :D
I'm going to call my B-Sides album Sheevmus one day. I need you to know that.

Holy shit I was sent an invitation to play the Elden Ring beta but I almost missed it because the mail was in my spams lmao
Lol same here, congrats friend! The previews have me so excited to take it for a spin this weekend.
Correct. There are several substantial unannounced 2022 releases on the docket -- barring any delays.
Oh man, I can only take so much hype. I have a feeling that, starting with Halo Infinite on 12/8, the next year of gaming could be my favorite in a very, very long time. Easily rivaling 2017 from the sounds of it, barring those delays

"Hm...wonder what my gaming list is looking like for next year for confirmed 2022 releases"

Switch:
Legends Arceus
Splatoon 3
BOTW 2
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Bayonetta 3
Digimon Survive
Made in Abyss Binary Star Falling into Darkness (If its good)
Advance Wars (For the SO)
Rune Factory 5 (For the SO)
Touken Ranbu Warriors (For the SO)

PS5:
Project Eve
Monark
Eiyuden Chronicles
Forspoken
Star Ocean (If its good)
God Of War Ragnarok (Maybe)

Yeah, definitely 2017 material here, unfortunately, for the bank account.

I want to say I hope some of you guys try to support SMT V because it looks to be one of the biggest production coming from Atlus and the strongest third-party effort yet.

I need this game to exceed expectations and sell really well.

Nothing better than when a bad headache you were sure wasn't going to go away without some sleep and another ibuprofen actually does finally go away.
Shame I only have half an hour before I get in bed, so I can't do anything fun with my unpainful mind, haha.

Trust me, I can relate. Had a bad one last Sunday and right now just dealing with my foot pain returning

it's 5 am and I just woke up. I tried to fix my sleeping pattern but I might've been a bit too successful...

Regarding the Game Awards, I'm kind of excited about it, but not for the GA themselves. I'm gonna visit a close friend overseas after years of not being able to see him because of the pandemic and the visit coincides with the GA show, so we're gonna have the coolest pizza time watching it. I feel like an excited kid thinking about it.

Being in the middle of its life can technically be true and not actually mean anything. It's not at the beginning, but it's also not on its way to the end yet: it's somewhere in the middle. Such a statement can be read different ways.

Now, I expect Switch to still be around and remain supported for quite some time after new hardware appears, not to have its life unceremoniously ended. It seems likely that whatever comes will be backwards compatible and have a largely shared library with the current Switch.

So, yeah, I expect Switch to stick around for a while.

I don't know whether that helps your worries/anxiety at all, but I hope it eases you somewhat.

Falcom starting to move

Huh, was not expecting Falcom to do that. I've only really played Ys 8 and 9 from them, but I loved those games so hopefully this Switch game is good too.

Maybe it'll also run at a consistent 20 fps at least instead of whatever the hell's going on with Ys 9 (this game is the only game that's ever really bothered me with its framerate)

Hey has anyone ever had an extremely important FedEx package be a week late in getting to the destination city, only to spend several more days stagnant in said city, before showing as "out for delivery" for three days in a row without ever actually arriving, and each phone call made only resulting in assurances that it is on the van and will be to you in a couple hours, only for it to fuckin not be?

It's really stressful!
👍

I haven't felt this way since they did this with my Dread CE

The writing was on the wall for Falcom with the way their domestic market shifted over the years.

Then of course, those MC folks what do they know ?

I mean, the writing was on the wall but acting on that would require Falcom to be able to read it

Which, hey, apparently they did

Dang, Switch is sold out everywhere online in NA, save for the Animal Crossing version at a few retailers. Even Switch Lites are completely out of stock.

Gonna' be another huge holiday for Nintendo.

I noticed that even at my local Walmart and Best Buy. I was wondering if maybe chip shortages could've played a part but they do also tend to do really well during the holidays

I’m torn on the TGA big announcement from Nintendo. It could be a brand new trailer for BotW 2 or the MP1R. Those are my leading candidates. Of course they could announce a new third party game coming to Switch.

I’m leaning towards BotW 2 if Nintendo is confident in it coming in 2022. I can also see playing off of Dread and continuing the Metroid hype with this MP1R announcement.
We won't see Botw2 until E3 in my opinion, but of course I hope I'm wrong. On the other hand, Metroid Prime Remake and RE Outbreak are strong candidate for a TGA show off. Xenoblade is a niche franchise and I think is more suited for a early year Direct.
