Do you see what I see?

I know it's the shrine, but I also see a cave icon

Is it a shrine, or just one of those swirly things that we've seen all over the place that would act like travel points?
This is a shrine icon. I am not sure if the swirly things are shrines, probably travel points as you said, Aonuma implied there are more ways to travel to sky and that's probably the swirly things.

I loved the shrine. I would make them more varied and maybe bigger, with less of them hopefully. If we have dungeons tbh, idc what else they do shrines or not.

Also, people saying "they kept the same jingles", ok ? Like MM kept so many aspects of OoT like LITERALLY character models for different characters, similar menus, sounds etc. And that game was completely different in tones and gameplay. This is what will probably happen with this game.

Less time with just changing jingles and horse music and more time on gameplay mechanics, story and puzzles.

I’m actually disappointed if shrines are back, that was something that could’ve stayed in BotW to keep it unique and replaced with something else here :/

Imagine having to fight a giant sky boss and having to create your own flying vehicle to go after it. You could even attach different weapons to the vehicle to give you a better chance of coming out on top.

Only thing that really let me down slighty is that they are using the same ambient music for some parts. Hajime Wakai (BOTW Sound Director) talked a lot about it when BOTW released, so I am really surprised they kept some of the themes basically untact.

I think that they will have a different name, design, theming and interior (or else be called Zonai Shrines).

Zonai Altar could be a nice alternative

True, although, i doubt it will be the exact same thing as shrines since the logo is different. But they kept it blue so it probably indicates you can teleport to it. We don't know what they will be. They might even just be teleporting things.

Honestly, the Korok with the huge backpack with a speech bubble saying he wants to reach his friend is super cute!

Oh it is? Okay good. It looked the same to me

Also, I’m pondering the absence of runes. Are we really losing the acclaimed Stasis ability? Are we actually gonna have a Zelda without bombs? Somehow I doubt it.

There was a bomb launcher in the last trailer, Link attached it to his shield.

We will probably have some bombs of course. Maybe as a traditional plant like in past games but that only grows in the islands or monster parts that explodes.

And yea, it is a tiny bit different from the shrine symbol. And i mean, it was sheikah aesthetic and that entire thing seems to be gone. So if it is shrine like places, they will be at least different in design imo.

I am here for everything that video showed us. None of these heathen "leaks" that the other thread has discussed for the last month - today's video was for the faithful.

And folks.

IT WAS GLORIOUS. Fusion is absolute perfection.

Finally a use for Hestu's gift for getting all Korok seeds!

Still chuckling over here at this.

Super excited to see what other details people end up seeing from today's footage. I looked into things several times, but I am sure that I missed some things.

As a look to the future, guess it makes the most sense to have the story trailer drop on April 12th now right?

Maybe Zelda uses the Slate abilities underground? It would explain how the only magnetic container we’ve seen thus far is apparently in the deep underground…

Nintendo told me that the more people who visit that other blasphemous thread, the more malice there will be in the game.

Every new thing we learn about this game convinces me of that more and more.

Not that there were much doubt about this, but the transition between land and sky is completely seamless. And if you fall, you fall lol.

You Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

breathes in

...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall

So the small automatons that were, like "friendly" were the same as the gigantic one from E3 2021?

Like, I was really into the idea of them being the game's equivalent to Guardians, but not only are they something that looks like NPC's (?) they're also super tiny.

Disproven, I guess.

Funny thing is that Nintendo UK upload shows the UI in japanese and the Nintendo Japan upload shows the UI in english. Someone messed up.

This was one of my main concerns when I saw the floating islands and I was wondering if some of the enemies could throw you over the edge. Was quite happy when Aonuma showed exactly that.
