I haven’t seen Nate’s new Youtube poll discussed here. What do you all think? I find it interesting that two of his answers could be right and don’t contradict one another (marketing beginning this week and previews coming in the second half of April).
 
Ranking dungeon themes sounds like fun. Had to go back and take a listen for some from past games.

1. Final Trial
2. Forest Temple
3. Face Shrine
4. Stone Tower Temple
5. Palace
6. Divine Beast Vah Medoh
6. Swamp Palace
7. Spirit Temple
8. Dungeon
9. Skyview Temple
10. Lanayru Mining Facility (past)

10th could have also been Divine Beast Vah Ruta on a different day.

My top dungeons theme are something like this (probably forgot some I enjoy):

1. Water Temple
2. Spirit Temple (tied with 1)
3. Forest Temple
4. Shadow Temple
5. Fire Temple (1.0)
6. Skyview Temple
7. Goron mines
8. Snowpeak ruins
9. Stone Tower Temple
10. Palace of Winds

Atmosphere and ambience are very important to me. So these songs aren't necessarily the ones I find the best musically.

Skyview is also my favorite from Skyward Sword.

Yo this is exactly what I want. Before we even got footage of Botw we had Aonuma come out and talk about the main vision and goal of the team with that game. All I want is for him to say something similar about this.
 
If Zelda doesn't have her coronation or at LEAST get called "Queen" by the end of this game, I will consider the writing to have failed.

Come on. 102 years. King's not coming back. Get on the throne and do your job, Zelda Hyrule.

...Why did Breath of the Wild make her surname Hyrule.

I hate this franchise's writing as much as I love its gameplay; a LOT.

I thought "Queen" would be in the title of the game before TOTK was named. Obviously subtitles are bad in hindsight, but I thought "The King, Queen and Knight" (Ganondorf, Zelda, Link), or "The Quiet Queen" (kind of an evolution to the Silent Princess) were decent options.

What if she doesn't get called Queen by the end but it's because she decides to abolish the monarchy and make Hyrule a democracy?
 
I mean, I also cannot see a full blown Direct focused on TotK to happen, considering how shush they've been about the game thus far.

For them to barely even mentioning the title to having a full blast blowout of story details and mechanics in a Direct doesn't make much sense.
So for them to just drop a trailer (with a 24 hour heads-up) and the announcement of the OLED makes a lot more sense. To me.

This may run counter to the vibe here, but I don't WANT them to reveal anything more!

A release trailer and nothing else would be fine by me.

If they DO release anything with meat on the bones I'll be avoiding it like the plague. I want to go in fresh! REALLY fresh, like I don't even want to see the OPENING before I launch it for myself. I don't want to know how anything is unlocked, or a single story detail, I don't even want to see screenshots that show nothing but how blades of grass have shifted around! NADA!

They're being hush hush for a reason, for good reason! Keep it up!
 
I want them to reveal the ZOLED next week and for it to look absolutely nothing like the leak, just for the chaos

Is the idea that, of the options in the poll, this week makes sense, next week can't work because of Mario, and then instead of offering the week after as an option for a Zelda presentation, he specifically mentioned Zelda previews? So are we thinking this week could be the trailer and previews could be 2 weeks later?

I definitely still think final trailer and previews could both happen the same week or one week apart in mid-April.

The surname of the royal family is Hyrule since at least Wind Waker where the king was named Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. It's just a royal designation and less a surname.

It's the house of Hyrule, but royal houses are the defacto surname of royals within it, Charles Windsor, for example

Well that (Nate's used his polls for hints before) but also just general vibes. Nate's been posting more in the thread and generally gives off "I know when something is happening" vibes.

But could be way off, Nate Whispering is not an exact science

I feel like we can all pretty much guess within a certain level of accuracy when Nintendo will begin their Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom marketing blowout. I'm placing my prediction for mid-April. Maybe around the 12th personally.
