Yeah this confuses me, too. I looked at the images and it's nothing crazy. Granted it's a miniscule amount of the artbook. But I don't get the 180 or comments that they should have shown this stuff in a trailer, as if it would sell people. I could be missing some images though!
 
The art books is going to spoil the upcoming trailers but it is not going to reveal much that wasn't planned pre-launch.

Remember that this is a CE perk, and as such, could be read by the players before even launching the game.

The artbook is supposed to showcase some cool pieces of concept art, it’s not supposed to show all of the game’s assets!

Anyway, I ain’t looking. 3 months to go. Let’s get this shit

New characters/species go a long way for me tbh

Basically, the type of stuff the art book shows:

-New characters (some look very important, some don't)
-New art for old characters (possible hints at what they've been up to all this time)
-New enemies (and also new art for old enemies, and enemies from the trailers)
-New animals (and new art for old animals?)
-New locations
-New weapon types (and old weapon types that have been recontextualized)
-New items, including food (that may or may not be usable by Link)
-New enemy vehicles?
-New armor/clothing (some of these kinda made me go whoaaaaa)
-Better look at a boss or two (that we've already seen from the trailers)
-Closer look at dehydrated Ganondorf(?) but nothing super mindblowing
-Closer look at the new Switch-like tablet that we've already seen

After seeing what I think is everything, I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to mechanics, the story, and new locations. However, I'm sure fan analysts are going to be able to glean a lot more from these than I can.
 
Whoa. I think I might just block Fami from my phone, and delete Twitter for like two months. This game is way too precious to me.

Yeah I didn't mind seeing some of these. All the new armor pieces are sick.

There's a certain aesthetic I've been anticipating since we first saw hint of the Zonai in the 2019 teaser and this game is nailing it.
 
i hope the leaker has life insurance cuz nintendo is about to end them. there will be nothing left, not even particles. just complete annihilation.
 
This was kinda the perfect thing to leak lol, a CE artbook definitely won’t spoil what Nintendo doesn’t want spoiled, but still get people excited
 
i really dont think any of these are super spoilery after looking at them. a lot of it is just architecture and outfits and shit. couple new enemies and characters

They're spoilery, but not huge spoilers and it's very clearly not showing some stuff. For example, Ganondorf and the hydra from the latest trailer are nowhere to be found.

A lot of them seem a very early-game type of spoilers (other than a couple of outfits), but they didn't show any of Link's new abilities, only a couple of vehicles and a possible confirmation of something we all were hoping for.

There is artwork of Ganondorf in it.

One of the first images might be showing the mysterious, sky lady. That could be an early game reveal, but we don't know what we don't know.
 
I looked through the entire artbook. I don't see anything in here that wouldn't be shown in a full story story or that the community has already parsed together from existing trailers. There are some new outfits and creatures so if you don't want to be spoiled on that, don't look at the art book. But I don't see any major spoilers in here beyond what are likely to be shown in a new trailer and the beginning of the game.
 
I wouldn't downplay the artbook leak. It may not be 100% comprehensive but it is pretty clearly substantial. No trailer or three would contain all of this. It may lack context but there is a lot in there.
 


Kit commented on the leak, I do feel bad for the Nintendo employees, Nintendo was pissed at that Chibi Robo fire twitter post; they are probably livid about this leak.

BUT Kit is right, the more you try to hide, the more likely a leak was going to happen.
