So here's a question that the artbook leak poses but doesn't actually have anything to do with spoilers:

Why the hell has the marketing for the game apparently been holding so damn much back, do we think?
 
Have not seen anything and will try to not in the future. Just wanted to say that never doubt EPD3, never ever in your life. WIll probably leave Fami just because of this tho.

I didn't go looking in the whole artbook and don't intend to, I saw at least three more from Reddit posts. There's more being hidden behind spoiler blurs that I didn't click on.

That's Nintendo's way always. But yea, if they had reveal more maybe this would feel less spoilery.

I think in the context of a Switch presentation-esque final story trailer, the artbook won’t be that spoilery

Keep in mind this was already probably gonna leak ahead of the game anyway once people got their CEs early, and Nintendo knows people will flip through it before even playing the game. It probably doesn’t have everything

Yea my thoughts. I don't recall how much was in the Botw artbook and what they hide from it. Like i doubt there will be final boss/event leak.

some location spoilers, but haven't seen anything that says "yup, dungeons are in." Granted, I don't know if I've seen everything yet (have probably seen about 30 pages so far)

Yeah, I always felt entirely new characters were much more likely than the predominant speculation that it’d be someone we know. They always roll out new characters.
 
this is absolutely insane. glad to know that the art direction of this game is (at minimum) on the same level of greatness that botw is

Yeah I looked and I bet after the final trailer it won’t seem too bad. Art books from CE usually aren’t as revealing as what’s made post launch. If you’re playing it as safe as possible definitely avoid the leaks though. It made me extra hyped, but I’m not going out of my way for more.
 
also, for those concerned about spoilers, remember that this the art book that literally comes with the game on release day. there's plenty of cool surprises and a lot of new shit, but remember that nintendo put this together with the intention that people will be able to see this before even playing the game
 
BotW didn't have an artbook for its pre-order. There was the Creating a Champion edition but that was a year after the game came out.

So while I haven't taken a look at all the contents of this artbook, I don't think it's likely to spoil massive details like bosses, dungeons, or story events after the early-game.

Considering someone who pre-orders the game may peek inside the artbook before playing it.

Yeah apparently everything has leaked and it has no art for Gleeok or cube guy bosses from the most recent trailer, FWIW

Good point. If it's that impressive what has leaked already then i'm looking forward to what the game has to offer even more.

Still, but i think many thing from the Artbook (Wich I haven't looked at it) will be Relevead in a final Story Trailer i reckon.
 
i would definitely say try to avoid looking at the leak if you want to experience the game as blind as possible, but i have a feeling a lot of what's been shown here will be revealed in a trailer at some point before the game is released for reasons mentioned above
 
the thing is, there's over 200 pages that've been leaked and i can't even remember half of what i saw. there's some stuff i would have rather not have seen yet, but i don't feel spoiled exactly. rather like this has put a lot of unneeded concern to rest
 
If only we had more info on the game maybe this would not be that big of a deal. Since it's the only new info we have it will spread everywhere.
 
I'm going to avoid the leaks honestly, more details for the game could be given by Nintendo at any time, so there will be lots more to talk about relatively soon enough.

Sadly I would have loved to see art of Gleeok. Guess they're saving that for the "Creating a Zonai Hero*" edition next year.

*This is not a spoiler.

So if there is no Gleeok and that was not spoilery enough to them to show it in a trailer 3 months before the game releases... then maybe that artbook is hiding a lot still.

I think these leaks more than 100% put to rest the idea that “lol totk looks like DLC”. Just from these pics alone I have no doubt this shit will be GOTY 2023. Yea I said it.
