Genuine question: when was the last time Nintendo did a Thursday Direct? In my head it feels like they've been Wednesday for a while (or Tuesday last fall), but I could easily be misremembering.

The last Direct that happened on Thursday was September 23th 2021. The one before that was March 8th 2018.

I think it’s tomorrow for a Thursday show, but excited to hype here with y’all nonetheless. I really want it to be today.
 
Yeah I'm not getting the sense that it's gonna happen today. Too little hype building up. When there's a Direct you can feel it in the room.

(Please Note: The message above is a defence mechanism in the case that the Direct announcement I'm hoping for doesn't happen)
 
The hardest thing is when we all get super excited for the possible announcement, then it doesn’t happen and we know we have to wait one more day lol.
