I went to check Nintendo Twitter because the site was down and for a second I thought it could have been due to a Direct announcement
 
Here's how Team January can still win: joining forces with a sorceress from the future whose main goal is the compression of time.
 
A Zelda direct will be announced tomorrow which will say TOTK will be delayed to Q1 2024 but in the meantime enjoy Epona's Enchanting Equestrian Racing!
 
While it will be fun speculation on what will happen in June. We will also not gen live Treehouse from showfloor. Yes, they will do Treehouse with NOA members but it won't be with EPD staff.

I really should've paid the consistency of the Direct being after the earnings release more mind. There's probably some internal reasoning for that.

well, i can think of 2 that can:
smoke from the corporate offices,
and smoke if they are searching for a new pope.

Not sure it was traffic related though. When it was loading slow it showed the site has 500-ish visitors and when it came back it had like 600. Now we're at 70 less, can't imagine that clogging the pipeline.

Alright so, if it's true that Nintendo believes they don't have enough big games to justify renting out a section of the E3 show floor, can I twist those words into meaning that the Metroid Prime Remaster/Remake (Remakster?) is finally coming this year? It's not that "big" of a game.

P.S. Samus Aran, if you read this, please don't hurt me. Your franchise is my favourite and I'm just saying what I think can will your games into existence.

While Orville Redenbacher theory failed to indicate timing, perhaps it can tell us something far more important: content. I think it may finally be time for Mother 3 to come to the west.

A user who would prefer to stay anonymous has reached out to the mod team with proof that a Nintendo Direct is scheduled for the 7th Feburary.
Among this the proof also provided knowledge that there isn't plans for a new/successor to the Switch this year and that Nintendo is only beginning to work closer with Chinese manufacturers
Having looked at the proof first hand and spoken with the other mods we cannot confirm this to be legit, but we also cannot prove that it's false and with the permission of the user that contacted us we wanted to share the (hopefully) good news with you all!
