Yeah, as much as I would love it if the Direct was tommorow, the vibes just aren't right - it will probably be next week.
 
The biggest question right now is
Are we doing a Nintendo direct speculation thread june edition this year even if we don't know if we'll get a direct that month?

I mean they can advertise it the rest of the year. Especially if nothing is expected to come out with the same level as Totk.

I don't want it to be the case, but drifting is something Nintendo is good at with the Switch.

Half an hour to possibly get my guess of 196 pages. That's pretty neat.

But I'll be equally unsurprised we have to wait for the January 39th announcement next week.
 
It's gonna be themed direct of a newly announced partnership between Nintendo and EA sports and it's be 100% sports focused on FIFA and Madden and others with amazing Nintendo easter eggs such as Mario stickers you can put on helmets and the Zelda sound effects to hype the crowd up. This is gonna be so hype!
 
Good morning, I slept for less than 5 hours and am ready for Nintendo to hopefully do the right thing and give us an announcement this morning.
 
I love how the reasonable people stay calm so they can enlighten some of us afterwards how wrong we were to even think about that the direct could be announced today.
 
I'm trying to prepare myself to be disappointed, because I don't want my hopes to come crashing down if nothing happens this morning. Even though nothing this morning probably just means next week.
 
Woah! I just realised Dragon Quest 3 came out on February 10th 1988, so if the Direct is on the 9th in the evening in Europe it would be the 10th in Japan which would be the exact 35th anniversary of the game and they could show the HD2D Remake!

But, a Thursday Direct still feels a bit weird to me when historically they've been on Wednesdays.
 
I have to admit, the vibes are indeed right for today. Still don't think we're getting one but I can feel the energy.
