NST did Bowser's Fury by themselves, the porting of the game to Switch and 3DS and IIRC the DLC levels. I'm pretty sure they're capable of doing Captain Toad 2.

  • Metroid Prime Remastered, launching in August
  • Mario Kart wave 4 showing
  • Porro, an isometric / top down puzzle story game coming this year, named after the main character of the game
  • Xenoblade Warriors, features characters from all games including X and Torna, will have it's own original story, no launch date
  • Final Fantasy XIII "deluxe" port, will probably be full priced and includes sequel games
  • Genshin Impact release window trailer for Summer
  • Gameboy / Gameboy Color for Nintendo Switch online
  • Port of Life is Strange 2, pretty straightforward..
  • Pikmin 4 trailer, still no release date
  • Trailer for Final Fantasy 1-6 pixel remasters with release date for April 7th
  • Advance Wars 1+2 release date set for March 10th
  • Cloud version of Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3.. this is supposed to be a big surprise however they don't have a release window
  • Dark Souls 2 port coming in the fall, not a cloud version
  • Release window trailer for two Switch spinoff Tomb Raider games, both coming in the fall
  • Xenoblade 3 DLC Wave 4 Trailer
  • Quick look at a bunch of games coming, mostly already what's been shown but also includes Minecraft Legends, Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Outer Wilds, Metal Slug Tactics and Octopath 2
  • Another trailer for Bayo Origins
  • Show closes with the story trailer for Zelda which is still launching in May.

While a new IP character based would be my dream, Porro would be quite a strange name for people that speak Portuguese as it's very similar to a bad word lol.

Nintendo tried DC license after Marvel with DC Super Hero Girls but the game failed just like the show itself failed. Wrong audience. MUA3 actually sold over 1m, enough to warrant a sequel but I can also see Nintendo try it with DC brand instead.

So you're telling us there's a (stupidly small but nevertheless real) chance that Nintendo could potentially get Atlus to make a Persona-like game in which the main character is a new student at Charles Xavier's Institute? Nice.

No, there's no chance for that but you can still get to socialize with mutants in upcoming Marvel Midnight Suns. Including Magik but do it when her overprotective brother Colossus isn't looking.

Aspyr only work on Star Wars games they previously worked on, I think.

Rogue Squadron needs to be remade by someone who's proficient in the genre. I nominate Fishlabs. They did Manticore on Switch and Chorus on other platforms (i want it on Switch too). They know how to create a space dogfighter, they can nail the Rogue Squadron feel.

Don’t know if that poster is referring to something specific, but there are less out there since the last Direct. Emily retired last year and Imran Khan isn’t in journalism anymore after Fanbyte was basically shutdown.

Oh I understand that, but I personally have trust in him enough to believe what he’s saying is somewhat accurate, and if he heard otherwise he’d post.
I mean as fun as it was, it certainly beats false hope created by doing math puzzles for 4 hours 😂

A General Direct is likely to happen sometime after Fire Emblem: Engage comes out and before Kirby: Return To Dreamland Deluxe comes out. My guess is the second week of February.

I did hear that Pokémon has a direct plan to end of February. It’s the reason why the Patch is dated for that time.

Edit: seems SyluxHunter is stating that something F-Zero will be happening (didn’t give an exact date).

Replaying Twilight Princess right now on my brother's WiiU. Still beautiful as ever. I really thought I would be able to play the game on my Switch soon, back in September. All hope is gone for any Zelda game re-release this year, I suppose 🤔

Edit: also, I predict we will be at around page 150 by the time the direct announcement drop during the last week of January 🤫

what nintendo should do is get marvel to take the stick out of their ass and port umvc3 to switch and all the mvc games to modern platforms. or only to switch which has a lot of comedic potential.
