I would... uh... not, actually? Samushunter really busts my vibe for some reason. Like the stuff at the old place is ignorant crap yeah but SH exhibits a particular type of arrogance that gets under my skin and wiggles.


I know my avatar is Hella Kyoot Sonikku but I actually like this chilled pace, because I can work for a while out in the shop when I need to and come back and not be way behind. Actually I literally just did. Btw do yall know how many different gearboxes there are to drain on a Skyline GTR?

Could only imagine the fever dream that a new Chrono game would give me.

Hell, just porting Trigger to Switch would almost feel like a fever dream.

I honestly think this thread moves fast enough, it’s the rest of the forum that I’d like to see move faster haha.
 
Talk about speculation. Wasn't there some rumour about a cooporation between Microsoft and Nintendo this autumn? Has there been any new hint about that?

I mean, when i think about it. Long past at ERA, the famous "KingZell" spread some rumours that all come true time after time. He talked about Monster Hunter Rise two years prior reveal. He talked about a "Botw Pokemon". Everyone thougt that wasnt true after oldschool sword/ shield was revealed. But than came "Arceus". He also talked about Tomb Raider for Switch ages ago. Well, here we are.

So, Halo for Switch when?

I remember him mentioning something about Halo, yeah. Maybe it got scrapped?

I also remember that rumor about MS and Nintendo working together for something this fall, but I assume that was Banjo for NSO, which might have been pushed back?

Isn't it sad that doing the absolute bare basic minimum like "porting an old pixel game to Switch" would be immediate cause for dancing in the streets to Burn Bobonga!?

Goes to show how amazing Chrono Trigger still is today. Game doesn't feel even a day old, let alone 20.

Halo for Switch was something planned/discussed several years back; but the status of the project and whether it will come to fruition isn't quite clear.

Sure. Zell seems to know about this projects years in advance. Maybe its cancelled.

The thing is. We thougt the same about his other leaks. And just when everyone forget about it, those games got announced .

Other insiders and the Switch on Phil Spancers desk make One curious though. It sparks some glimmer of hope where instead it should be better, to just await nothing at all.

I wished too, because I really really dig the style, the gameplay and everything, but the online is the worst. So bad, that my friends and I we all quit pretty soon entirely and now wait for netcode analysis before we consider buying Splatoon 3. Heck, just read up the netcode analysis from Oeatmealdome. I haven't but from what I've seen it's exactly the same thing except they replaced the optical sensors with potentiometers. Beware drifting.

This is not my experience at all. I played quite a bit of Splatoon 2 during 2017-2018 and I did not experience anything like the above.

I've been using my OLED in handheld a ton since release and some games just looks very nice.

Every day. Not every match but every day. Worse than in Splatoon 1 and the only shooter I had this experience. Worse than old stuff like UT2004. I remember fondly a match on Port Mackerel where I could shoot someone with so much ink, they should have died twice. Nothing. Instead I got hit by one super bullet and died. We couldn't leave our starting area, cause they basically were invincible. If you tried to go out, one superbullet from the right and you are dead.
And I'm talking about a Splatshot Jr. by the way.
It was utter horseshit. Stupid 15 Hz tick, P2P nonsense. Fuck that

I actually started the Trials of Mana remake on the OLED yesterday because i wasn't in the mood to try beating the final boss of Dread that late.

Colorful games sure are something on that screen.

I really, really wish I liked the Switch version of the game, but even all this time after its release, I just can't put up with how weird diagonal movement feels in this game. I know I'm not the only one, but it seems not that many people have got an issue with that aspect specifically.
Once I noticed, I never was able to look past that.

Only played some 50 minutes so far, didn't notice anything iffy with the controls yet. ^^

Yeah I think they will want it out before summer so that kids have have it as a school holiday game.

I’m on an old Switch here and it looks pretty good there as well.
I’m enjoying it a lot actually and the game is really unsettling and tense. Perfect for the season :)
 
When Switch 2 launches they better have NES, SNES and N64 available day 1 for Switch Online. It would be absolute classic if they added them over time again.

It really isn't THAT bad even after the Great Schism. There was a nice thread about being a Nintendo fan that was pretty filled with celebration of the joys of Nintendo gaming. Even the N64-NSO thread is pretty multi-sided despite a few contributions from the Hate Boner Brigade. And do you really get any more "Ya boo, BOTW sucks" type contributions there than anyway else? Zeldadungeon.net is worse for that despite supposedly being a fan site.

Especially interested to see how Skyward Sword HD has done. Game still has some issues, but I massively enjoyed the Switch version.
 
Amazon just delayed my copy of Mario Party. I'm sad, I have a birthday tomorrow and now I can't have an excuse to generate chaos and make everyone hate each other.
