Warpstar Knight
I’m pretty sure it was deconfirmed. It’s not Brittany. How many playable characters do we will get this time? Who will be playable? Britanny is already confirmed right?

best case scenario. I love all the characters and their design (besides Louie) but I really wanna see some new faces. Not gonna lie... I would love a character creation.I'd bet money it's a new character not tied to any existing ones
ew I am strongly opposed to thatbest case scenario. I love all the characters and their design (besides Louie) but I really wanna see some new faces. Not gonna lie... I would love a character creation.
Doesn't have to be too deep for me . Splatoon's take on it would be absolutely acceptable to me. But I understand your point.ew I am strongly opposed to that
Pikmin characters are phenomenal and I'd like to get some new ones
I would very much hate to miss out on a defined character no matter how deep or shallow the customizationDoesn't have to be too deep for me . Splatoon's take on it would be absolutely acceptable to me. But I understand your point.
Still I would really love to give my captain a few personal touches.
To each their own I guess.I would very much hate to miss out on a defined character no matter how deep or shallow the customization.
I would love to have an interconnected world with bigger levels but open world surely goes too far for me too. I love the level design structure in Pikmin and it is its strongest point right now besides the satisfying gameplay.new fear unlocked: the character in the screenshot is just an avatar
throw that on the pile with open world, death of the timer, and playing at night
oh hell nawSpeaking of characters, Miis will be used. Like in Bloom and Nintendo Land. Agh
The Mii's are dead. Long live the Pikmin Mates.Speaking of characters, Miis will be used. Like in Bloom and Nintendo Land. Agh

Guess my take is really controversial lol.Character creation in Pikmin? Ew, no
I want to see what charming characters Nintendo comes up with, leave it to the professionals.
but the player in splatoon isn't really a characterGuess my take is really controversial lol.
They could just create a base character thats just as charming as ever. Works pretty well for Splatoon.
I think it's a good thing that they were cut from coconut mall
Raccoon
#1 Mii Hater
Just implement options to give my boy Olimar a beard and a big scar over his left eye and I would be happy. /sbut the player in splatoon isn't really a character
you're gonna give someone a heart attack putting that /s behind a spoilerJust implement options give my boy Olimar a beard and a big scar over his left eye and I would be happy. /s
Speaking of the Agents not being characters: I love how they handled this with humor in Splatoon 3's story mode and Old Agent 3's appearances. The self awareness was pretty funny.but the player in splatoon isn't really a character
I personally think it would be really cool if Pikmin 4 has a female protagonist as the singular playable character.
Agreed. Its also cool to see how a femaleI personally think it would be really cool if Pikmin 4 has a female protagonist as the singular playable character.
singular playable character???I personally think it would be really cool if Pikmin 4 has a female protagonist as the singular playable character.
That's why Everybody's 1-2 Switch is releasing this year and is getting revealed next week.don't let your memes be dreams
Sportsmates?oh hell naw
now you've done itSportsmates?
Miyamoto is really one of the few people in the industry I would consider a creative genius. One day, around 23 years ago, Miyamoto was relaxing on his patio and saw a line of ants marching past his feet and off into the grass, carrying leaves towards their nest. Then he imagined for a moment – because this is how the Miyamoto mind works – what the scene might look like if they were tiny people.
"Ants, as you know, always have a leader, and tend to be carrying things, and as they move they create a kind of rail," he says. "And I started thinking about a game about lots of small people carrying things in a line, following a leader, with everyone going in the same direction."
shout out to the ants at Miyamoto's garden thoMiyamoto is really one of the few people in the industry I would consider a creative genius.
I'll also take this moment to give the caves and forests in Kyoto a shout out.shout out to the ants at Miyamoto's garden tho
I kinda agree. I wouldn't be pissed at allWhile the puzzles and strategies and such with the multiple characters is great, I partly really want you to be all alone again in Pikmin
Pikmin 1 has a very unique sense of dread, I think, Olimar being alone, missing his family, will die if he does not complete his mission in time, having to take help from the Pikmin
It is just a very cool unique sense of lonliness, in the first game, that the other (still amazing) Pikmin games did not have.
I doubt we will have just 1 character again, but I WOULD welcome it
Yays thank youI kinda agree. I wouldn't be pissed at all.
A need to light fires or positioning certain Pikmin at certain places would really add a welcome sense of tension to exploration.Yays thank you
Luckily, I am fine with both options since they are good in very different ways. I just in general like being alone in gamesAlso, about exploring at night, I have had this idea that a game would introduce Green glow-in-the-Dark Pikmin, and use that as a excuse to why you can now play at night. Since they help you and teh other Pikmin see better.and in real life
Oh you just KNOW there'd be some enemy that occationally walks around and puts out your fireA need to light fires or positioning certain Pikmin at certain places would really add a welcome sense of tension to exploration.
The atmosphere comes together so well in Pikmin 1. In that regard I don't think Pikmin 2 gets enough credit for pulling off the tone shift from the first game. While the puzzles and strategies and such with the multiple characters is great, I partly really want you to be all alone again in Pikmin

It's deluxe enough to warrant full price and a replay, it's amazing.Reading this thread thinking I really should get Pikmin 3 DX on Switch. Played the original version on Wii U in early 2014 and loved it.
