Yes, unfortunately. Maybe they're gonna do a Capcom Stadium 1 & 2 bundle one day, with the game as a bonus, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I wanna say it's digital only that's why I bought it digital. I avoid digital too.

Yea I personally like to mix up genres of games, for example just finished xenoblade 3 (massive rpg) so now playing crysis 2 (shooter) etc that way I don’t get burned out on a specific style of game. Blossom tales 2 should scratch my Zelda clone itch for a bit. Just ordered splatoon 3 online.

Cross-gen is confirmed to exist until 2024 with the most recent Yakuza announcement. If cross-gen is in for a penny it needs to be in for a pound. I say this as someone who's only ps5 game is my free update of FF7R and still isn't quiet sure why I bought one.

I am 100% with you, but it has been 18 months since the game released and not a peep from Capcom on the matter. I've pretty much given up hope myself.

There was a new update on Grim Guardians Demon Purge from INTI yesterday. They showed a new level and a boss, overall it seems more polished than what they showed in July.

Man, I wish this was like a special series of old school releases. Like, a special line of classic PC games made for consoles. We could have also have Hexen, Heretic, Blood, Ecstatica, all three Alone in the Darks etc etc

Some major news in the PC hardware space. Gamers Nexus is reporting EVGA is ending it's 20+ year partnership with Nvidia.


EVGA has terminated its relationship with NVIDIA. EVGA will no longer be manufacturing video cards of any type, citing a souring relationship with NVIDIA as the cause (among other reasons that were minimized). EVGA will not be exploring relationships with AMD or Intel at this time, and the company will be downsizing imminently as it exits the video card market. Customers will still be covered by EVGA policies, but EVGA will no longer make RTX or other video cards. The company already made ~20 EVT samples of EVGA RTX 4090 FTW3 cards, but will not be moving to production and has killed all active projects pertaining to cards -- including KINGPIN cards.

This hurts a little, but the only game I really wanted backcompat for is Beat Saber, and now I have that for the Quest 2 so ¯\(ツ)/¯

Everything they've shown for PSVR2 has blown my socks off. I'm not too shaken by this news.
 
Sorry y'all , wanna apologize for not being on much. Just not been sleeping great a lot. The hand keeps bothering me in the middle of the night and keeps me up. Lack of good sleep has made me feel unmotivated to post some but I am still reading this thread. I feel better about talking through DMs right now really

Nightdive hasn't revealed their next 3 projects they've been working on and Hexen, Heretic and Blood (along with sequel) could be among them.

One by one they'll all get remastered thanks to Nightdive.

As someone who hasn't gotten into vr yet, the lack of BC is a big turn off for me. I'm now strongly considering getting a cheap psvr1 to scratch the vr itch and play all the psvr1 critical darlings like Beat Saber and Astrobot Rescue Mission.

Hexen and Heretic would probably be done in-house if the MS-ABK merger happens, like they did with Doom and Doom 2.

Most of the good stuff from PSVR1 is available on the Quest 2. You're missing out on stuff like Astrobot, Iron Man and RE7, but almost everything else you'd want to play is on the Quest. It's the easiest way to get into VR for sure. Plus it's got RE4 as an exclusive.

I really don't want Quest 2 cause I don't want anything to do with Meta.
 
VR products in general are so utterly unappealing to me at this point in time. I'm not even remotely interested in anything currently out there or releasing in the near future. The tech has a good way to go before I'll ever consider it (in terms of price, features, and usability.)
 
Gave my bland, sword wielding vampire a pair of bladed fans I whipped up from a bunch of cones and now she's a Fanpire. Also starting a fairy tree dungeon, lots of illusions and tricks.

Nintendo might do a holiday sale although it's hard to say which games will go on sale. They always do a big Mario sale on March 10 (Mario day) pretty much all Mario games go on sale physically and digitally around then. That will likely be the next time 3d world goes on sale for sure.

What's driving(heh) me crazy is how the lanes almost aren't big enough to fit whole cars. Simply driving around is an exhausting attempt to not scrape mirrors

I dunno about you guys. I know people are down on Sony (with good reason, they haven't been very solid the past two years) and have been been more positive on Microsoft, but here in Europe they are such a non-factor and I'm not that impressed by anything they're doing either.

Thanks to the TGS (and Xenoblade 3) I got out my gaming funk which lasted for several months, but at this point in time the only party impressing me is Nintendo.

Whatever Drake is, or if we're getting a follow up to the Switch, I really, really hope they'll keep followin this path.
