Gonna try to make a trailer. I have a feeling it's gonna suck. Wish me luck.
stoked to see it

if uh you have a bunch of footage somewhere and wanted me to take a crack at it… mmmmmaybe

that’s normally something I would charge a significant fee for but I’m feeling chaotic

EDIT: cursed by the bottom of the page yet again, reposting

Nah I wouldn't do that, I'm sifting through a good 2-3 hours of footage myself and it suuuuucks

I'm sure it'll be decent enough.

I’ve always loved Super Mario Sunshine, but consider this, haters:

Super Mario Sunshine was always proto-Splatoon, which I’ve believed since I first played Splatoon, and now it’s canon

I'm just quickly passing by to mention that I am still high on the Octopaht 2 reveal, after reading every available info, this could really end up as a dream game for me.

Anyway sharing the main theme (again) :

I'm happy we get to play Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse finally! The game looked GOOD!!!!!

I gotta restart Octopath Traveler one of these days. I did about half of the characters chapter twos, but then drifted away. I think I was trying to do too much at once, finishing all eight chapter ones before moving on.

I think the strat might be to pick four characters, play their entire stories, then going back and doing the same for the remaining four characters.

Same here. I play Octopath once every few months cause its still one of my favorites games ever. Because of that I feel it will take time for me to warm up to the new cast, since I love everyone from 1, but their stories and designs are very cool.

Like, Octopath is one of my favorite JRPG despite its obvious flaw of the characters being "a team traveling together except not really".

If you tell you are making a sequel that is seemingly all the amazing stuff from the original, a bunch of new features AND that very same flaw now fixed, how am I supposed to not be excited beyond belief?

K the plot in Xenoblade 2 got way too meta, I feel like I need to read all the wikis to truly understand it now.

It came together by chance. John was available to record and had interest in discussing the Direct, so figured may as well take the opportunity.
"I better be able to walk up to people and actually kill them with my fingertips after playing this game" Legendary quote. An excellent reaction video, thank you so much Nate and John!

Oh no question. That cozy feel of the party, the ost, the new interlinking stories (hopefully its fleshed out), the time period (a bit less fantasy, more 20s-30s) it seems more than perfect.

2 things I want to see from the floor show, aside from the stories, are: new takes on old tracks (hope DoDG makes a return) and the teaks to the battle systems (do we still have random encounters?)

The best advise I can give is (if you keep your current run) is to keep at least two members as "permanent" fixtures in your group. I always kept the healer Ophilia and (usually) Olberic. Towards the end I just kept three members and rotated out the last one just to finish each story line. That and making sure you interact with the towns people and do the side-quests.

The game can be taxing, timewise, but I felt a sense of accomplishment when I finished all 8 story lines.

My favorite moment was listening to John die a little bit when I told him Forever Entertainment was the developer of the Front Mission Remake.
I loved the mixture of "ha, I'm glad I got to be the one to tell you" and "damn, sucks I had to be the one to tell you" in your voice after this segment, lol

They aren't, actually; Nintendo published the first two games in the west, but Imagineer publishes in Japan;

The Hokuto no Ken spinoff they announced this Direct, is fully published by Imagineer though
Oh, ok
