The other specials don't need reworking.I sure hope so, because the other returning specials don't look like they're reworked.

Inkblot Art Academy from 2, seen here with the lighting turned offWhat map is that? Because I think I've seen it before.
I have no idea how surge works, but I assumed roll was performed by going 180 in swim and jumpingI realized, we still don't actually know how you squid roll and surge. It can't be L, and even if L is the new map button X seems unlikely too. A is still used for throwing in multiple gamemodes, and everything else is taken. My only theory from this screenshot is that you press the left stick to switch X between Menu and Roll/Surge in the shooting range?
I just want to play it already so I can test it out, damn. Doing Splatfest demo 17 days after announcement might be the biggest insult by gaming company in the last decade, I literally screamed fuck you.I realized, we still don't actually know how you squid roll and surge. I'm so excited to get my hands on the demo 2 days before the actual eventI just want to play it already so I can test it out, damn. Doing Splatfest demo 17 days after announcement might be the biggest insult by gaming company in the last decade, I literally screamed fuck you.
I will do everything I can in the demo to death, like literally. Just walking around the Splatsville for example.I'm so excited to get my hands on the demo 2 days before the actual event
Me too! I also really badly want to know exactly which 26 weapons will be availableI will do everything I can in the demo to death, like literally. Just walking around the Splatsville for example.
Do we know what can we do from 25th? Online will not work of course but am curious what can we actually do.Me too! I also really badly want to know exactly which 26 weapons will be available
The first Squid Roll they show in the Direct is a clockwise 90° and a couple others are at odd angles so idk...I have no idea how surge works, but I assumed roll was performed by going 180 in swim and jumping
From what they've said you can do the tutorial, walk around the square, pick your team, make miiverse posts, and use the shooting rangeDo we know what can we do from 25th? Online will not work of course but am curious what can we actually do.
After Jet got stripped of Stingray, I need to get my hands on the Custom Jet to see what special it received as soon as possible. I will pay all the Sheldon licenses for it!
It's just good Ink Storm is still in the game, so I still have my comfort special in one ranked mode - if not in Tower Control, then at least in Splatzones.
I really hope Cjet has burst bomb with an aggressive special to emulate burst + kraken from Splatoon 1, since the default one seems to have line marker (sorry, never calling it angle shooter) and ink vac
I don't really want Saltspray back, but... that Big Run thing is the perfect opportunity right? People have been half-jokingly asking for Saltspray Rig to be turned into a Salmon Run stage for yearsI’m very interested in seeing what the stage rollout will be like. It doesn’t seem like Shifty Station is returning, so that plus the theoretically shortened development time to port stages from 2 to 3 should result in a pretty beefy lineup. Also like how the early focus is to bring over Splatoon 1 stages that didn’t appear in Splatoon 2. We’re only waiting on Urchin Underpass, Saltspray Rig, and Bluefin Depot, and then every single Splatoon stage will be playable in some capacity on Switch.
Leaning too heavily into the returning stages would be criticized pretty heavily though, so I’m very curious to see what the final count looks like. 30+ seems pretty reasonable, which would be quite the improvement from previous games.

I really do hope they remove the most problematic parts. I think the 2 main things I want gone is the ability to charge the next missiles before the other ones have even landed, and the tracking ability. For missiles I bet they will remove its ability to track enemies, instead just telling you how many things are being targeted but not what you're targeting and where, which will make it still very powerful in the right hands but relatively reliant on being aware of your surroundings, using the map, or having useful teammates. Along with not having it on nearly as many kits since it's a returning special in a game with a significantly larger roster of specials should make it much more tolerable.
Your lack of love for the N-Zap.Here is my tier list based on how likely I think each weapon is to be playable in the Splatfest Premiere the Tri-Stringer and both Splatanas are also in guaranteed
Maybe a few shooters could be knocked down from Likely, however it really is a toss up for those.
ahemYour lack of love for the N-Zap.
That is my most used weapon. Between this ink coverage and accuracy, I love it. Not the strongest for damage, but I always hard focus on inking and a sneaky sky splat when I see an opening.

ahem
Did you keep the kits in mind? If so do you think every special will be there? I could see them leaving some of the returning ones out. Also, I think Tetra Dualies is all but guaranteed. It got a lot of showtime in the Splatfest trailer segment, same goes for DynamoHere is my tier list based on how likely I think each weapon is to be playable in the Splatfest Premiere the Tri-Stringer and both Splatanas are also in guaranteed

Hopefully, they bring all the previous stages to Splatoon 3, before their two-year roadmap ends, because I doubt Splatoon 2 will be getting played again, for many. Also like how the early focus is to bring over Splatoon 1 stages that didn’t appear in Splatoon 2. I did somewhat keep the kits in mind yeah. I put dynamo in likely, but I think it is almost guaranteed. For tetras I'm not so sure, since it is one of the more advanced dualies, but you could argue it's pretty likely.Did you keep the kits in mind? If so do you think every special will be there? You're clearly just trolling, now.it's not about the amount of content, it's about the content being basically the same as the last game
this is Splatoon 1.75, you can meme this point of view all you want but it's the truth
Like I said I lost interest in this game and am not buying it, no interest in debating anything about it, so am out

That’d be neat, but that’s 30 maps alone right there, 23 post launch, without even considering Shifty Station. I can’t imagine we get all of those plus 10+ new maps.Hopefully, they bring all the previous stages to Splatoon 3, before their two-year roadmap ends, because I doubt Splatoon 2 will be getting played again, for many.
I can't imagine they won't bring it back in DLC. It's one of Splatoon's most unique and iconic stages.I just want to say, rip Moray Towers.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the only Splatoon 1 maps that return are the ones that don’t come back in Splatoon 2. Then in Splatoon 4, the returning Splatoon 2 maps are the ones that didn’t return in Splatoon 3, and so forth.I can't imagine they won't bring it back in DLC. It's one of Splatoon's most unique and iconic stages.
Same here! Since you can preload the premiere, I used my Australian alt account alongside my main to claim it too, in the hopes it's a midnight unlock so I can do the pre splatfest phase earlierMan I wish the Splatfest was this weekend, I am chomping at the bit to try the new weapons and QOL after playing more Splatoon 2 recently.
here's a neat thing
I assume that box art is real because this would be such a strange thing to fake
was the back and inside of the box art known?Click on the video. It outright shows that there's no cartridge.
I basically main a weapon in every class so... (I know, probably one of the main reasons I always cap around 2100 in X Rank)Anyone have kit wishlists for Splatoon 3? Here's 4 I want:
