I also only have a 1080p tv, but the Xenoblades.. as much as I love them... kinda need some help in my opinion. The vistas are incredible but being capped at 720p does them a disservice, and resolution often drops even lower when there's weather effects. I'm not even worried about 4k, I just wanna see Gaur Plains in the rain or Uraya during the crystal sleet in 1080p.

So @Dragoncaine, that's my answer. Which released games would I want to revisit on Drake? Xenoblade DE and Xenoblade 2. Which unreleased game would I want to experience? Xenoblade 3. 😅

Also really not worried, definitely think monthly N64 updates will continue. Tho maybe they'll do a roadmap when they date the next one as part of the dating video?

I wasn't expecting a NSO Genesis update since they usually came if the N64 update released in the first half of the month, but this is welcome news nonetheless.

Doom, Doom Eternal, and Shin Megami Tensei V are the games I'd like to see upgraded the most.

Bastard!! Watched the first two episodes. I guess it's based off a manga that has been on hold for a decade and there was apparently some OVAs back in the day. It supposedly has a reputation for being bloody and being very horny. I like the beginning where the giant monster destroys humanity because we deserve it. Other than that, I was not impressed by the blood nor the horniness so far. Pretty tame by modern anime standards. Might be one of those "I'll watch an episode when I got nothing better to do" type of shows.
 
On the latest NVC while they were discussing RPG Time from the Direct, Brian Altano said that it was hand drawn done right, unlike some “other” game he didn’t want to directly name

Is there anything in the Nintendo sphere like that I’m missing? The closest I can think of is that awful PlayStation one by the bigoted washed up twitter dev.

EDIT: Drawn to Death, David Jaffe lol - that’s my best guess

I got banned from Era one time for "console waring" because I defended Phil Spencer over comments David Jaffe made about him. Mind you I haven't played an Xbox since 2014, I own a PS4, and Jaffe wasn't even working at Sony. He was doing his shitty Youtube garbage.
 
Well as much as I've been joyfully shitposting lately, it's actually been a really rough few days for me as I'm in a transitional phase of my life, trying to figure out how to get my life started while losing faith in the literal future of my nation so I'm coping in the only way a Sonic fan knows how:

I don’t think there’s anyone left at Square who wants to champion that. And I say that as someone who is right there with you (especially if it gave them another chance to finish up the second season of DLC that got done dirty).

Still waiting on XIII too, but I’m guessing anyone who would push for that getting a re-release is busy with 7R right now.

I had planned for my Steam Deck to be basically a stop-gap until the Switch 2/Pro/Whatever came along but I'm thinking it's going to wind up being a portable PS2 emulator. This desire of "Oh man, portable Resident Evil Village and FF7 Remake and God of War and PEEEEE SEEEE gaming" didn't last long. I get caught up in hype waaaay too easily and my wallet hates it.

Anyway, here's a scene from Neon White which is amazing.

I already have a physical copy of Zero Wing I bought on ebay for $30 CIB back in 2013.

This update genuinely brings a tear of joy to my eye, and is the kind of deepcut I want to see Nintendo do more often.
