I come back to 11 notifications and I'm thinking what the fuck did I do 😂 But at least I didn't waste 15 minutes of my life making a troll account lmao

I'm glad Fall Guys has finally made it's way to Switch...but honestly it's night and day difference in performance between Switch and PC that it honestly ensures more victories when I play PC than I do Switch. I don't know what it is but I just do better on PC (also helps that Fall Guys didn't crash seven times in the span of three days on Switch). Even when I swap between platforms for Rocket League and Dead By Daylight, at least I still perform consistantly bad in those games.

~~

Spicy take but looking back, I don't think Super Mario 35 was all that good. Might have been more fun if I actually played more levels than 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3 constantly looping even when I made last five or so players.

I just realized this thread is closing tomorrow. Here's to July! Time for Xenoblade and Live a Live fans to get hyped, and it's also time for Nintendo fans to pray for announcements!

Real talk though, I'm expecting a bunch of Twitter Directs next month. Bayonetta 3 release date, Mario Kart DLC release date, Splatoon Direct, and probably an announcement for Windwaker and/or Twilight Princess HD. Should be a busy month.

Makes me feel like I'm in the right community.

I've seen that reaction they posted a bunch on the internet lately, but here is the only place they get fuckin banned for it. Love this place.

Woke up like a straight nail at 6AM because I can't wait to continue nirvanA Initiative before work.

Yesterday I spent 3 hours and over 200 tries on a puzzle and when I looked it up, it made me want to bash my head against something. On par for Spike Chunsoft games, I suppose.

getting called a baby killer by the people that love killing foreign babies and then defending it by calling them all terrorists. it rocks tbh.

I'm really liking it so far, but it hasn't quite grabbed me in the same way the first one did (yet!), but I expect that'll change soon. Might be partially down to how I'm playing it.

I ended up going down Ryuki's route first, and I still haven't gotten to the ending. I think I'd be more invested if I was doing Mizuki's side, since so far at least Ryuki is inoffensive but just not all that interesting IMO.

But I still haven't gotten to anything anywhere near as mind-blowing as some of the things in the first game, or much in the way of a mystery that I want to unravel beyond some surface level things. There's lots of things building in the background, though, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it starts coming together and making my brain melt!

Interesting combination of headline and picture.

I don't dare to click the spoiler, haha.

I am adoring it, though I haven't got to the tail end yet. The first one was very good, but it was only near the endgame that it ascended to god-tier for me.

For the people playing AI 2 on switch, I dont know if its a thing but I left the game on rest when I go to bed over the last couple of days and I went and exited to play another game. Once I was done and return it said that I had over 80 hours of play time :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

My guess is because of the
Tamagochi

Just a heads-up: more obnoxious "Chaos!" jokes on the Internet are incoming.
I almost never buy DLCs but I might get this one. I honestly think that Stranger of Paradise will be in my top ten 2022 games by the end of the year

Im the only one after Klonoa 1+2 and Pac Man have a good feeling for Baten Kaitos to be ported to Switch

I have the feeling that after Mr Driller Namco looked at try more interesting stuff aftet the Encore series and i honestly think that Baten Kaitos is in the line, especially if they do it like Klonoa

I mean you can probably just do BK1+2 HD with the options of stuff like Chrono Cross

God I hate it when games do that. Thanks for the heads up

I've been investing in older games I never played and I'd built up quite a backlog over the past few months, but this past weekend I started Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and it's such an interesting game. I have it in Japanese so I don't understand anything, but it's not a huge deal.

I love videogames.

seems like I'm late to Steam Deck talk... I just want to say cheers it's all you want, I can't buy it with an insane markups price anyway :p

Okay, we’ll see how Nintendo translate it, but the full answer for the F-Zero question is a lot more interesting than the Twitter summary made it out to be.

Takahashi mentions the investor who asked about Famicom Detective Club in 2019 and says that at the time they couldn’t say they were working on the remakes. Then he says that like at that time they cannot confirm if any of the series requested by the shareholder will be getting new installments or remakes soon.

I always thinked that F Zero GX HD is bound to happen, i mean a 60 fps wonderfully aged game that litterally only needs an Online mode

And a Easy Mode, but for the rest no other work required

It's going to be rough when Nier 3 and Persona 6 are PlayStation exclusives lol.
And then they’ll come to XBox/PC the following year and Switch 3 a few years later.

I’m pretty bullish that the days of Sony having a lock on high-end JRPGs are over. The big players in the genre can’t afford to ride along solely on PlayStation.

I don't expect Nintendo to touch F-Zero GX any time soon. I think that any remasters and remakes in "dead" IP will be made with the potential of a proper revival in the back of their heads. Basically, they'll be on the lookout for a partner that can bring an old entry to modern systems and, if successful, will work with that dev on a followup. And if that happens they'll want to make sure that there's some kind of continuity between the remake/remaster and the new entry which in my mind disqualifies GX for a variety of reasons. If we get another F-Zero I think it's going to be in the form of an F-Zero X remake, possibly with the N64DD stuff.

But maybe I'm completely off the mark!

I hope so. I have unfinished business with the first game. Due to the way leveling up worked, I got myself stuck on an airship (?) on the second disc. I needed to grind a little more to beat a boss, but there were no save points on said airship that would allow you to exchange your experience points for a new level. I'm still smarting about this nearly 20 years later!

Miyamoto smiling at an F-Zero totallyeans we are getting a new one. And the cute girl I walked by on the street smiling at me totally means she is into me and we are destined to be together. I believe!

I still think if they're going to do a F-Zero remake/revival they should just mush X + 64DD, GX, and AX together and give it the Mario Kart 8 treatment so they all have a consistent look to them. NSO can do the heavy lifting on the classic style games.

wait this CAN happen? I end up with more playtime than I think I actually have with a lot of games.

I mostly agree, except for Final Fantasy on Xbox.

In fact, Sony tying that series up almost makes me more confident Dragon Quest 12 and Persona 6 will be on Xbox day one (Not sure about Nier 3 since there’s already a small rumor that it’s PS5 only. But people talked about how DMC5 was PS4 only until it showed up at an Xbox show).

It would be an absolute dream to one day make enough money so I could
  • own a home
  • buy a car
  • pressure Nintendo into answering my questions

Would you guys recommend picking up a hat in time on the switch, if the switch version is your only option? Ive seen mixed opinions about the performance online but i can never tell when people are being nitpicking and expecting 4k 60fps for everything

I have it, I really enjoyed it, and don't remember any performance issues at all. Not to say there aren't any, just that if there were they certainly didn't stand out to me.

I don’t blame you, I don’t think it’s much of a spoiler but you can’t be too careful with these games! I’m going to really dig into it this weekend so I’ll update my impressions later. Like I said, I’m betting I’m just not far enough in, and I am really liking it still.
