Coming back to this thread after the news from Friday and this morning and just...woof, somber doesn't even begin to cut it.

It feels weird talking about anything OTHER than last week, but if I do I'm just contributing to the overall gloom with my disappointment of an on-demand partner showcase.

At least the concert I saw last Saturday was fun (with an appropriate shout out to supporting bodily autonomy), and a wine tour out by Niagara Falls was enjoyable.

Guess I'll catch up with the Speculation threads in the meantime, but I hope that this coming week offers what reprieve it can and is gentle to you and your loved ones 💜

I just shared my screen at work not realizing that one of my tabs was for the Wikipedia entry for Nier: Automata. Now people may suspect that I'm a gamer. Why couldn't have it been porn instead?
Well if you show them some pictures of 2B they might still believe it was.

Just google search 2B with the safe search off to assert dominance

The dog piling you got was straight up garbage, especially when you dropped the convo and moved on. I don't really blame you if you never come back.

Nah, sorry. I'll finish it, but I might just ask someone else to post it on my behalf.
glad to hear you've changed your mind. you should just post it yourself tbh, since you've done the work. that's just my opinion tho, whatever you want is fine.

I would take him to my Wii U that is plugged in and show him Star Fox Zero. Then he would leave in shame and tell Nintendo to release WW on Switch that very evening.

Bold of you to assume that Miyamoto feels such a thing as shame when he made

looks over shoulder to check if Raccoon is around

Man, I love manufacturers like Strictly Limited but the push back of limited releases is horrible. I've been waiting for like a year for the Space Invaders Invincible Collection, Ultra Collector’s Edition.

MVG is moving and his computer/laptop are in storage until he's able to settle in a hotel room before getting keys to his new place. The episode is YT-only, unfortunately.
Ahh, c'est la vie and all that with the timing. Can still enjoy it in the meantime thankfully, and hopefully you have reason to upload your first-party predictions with MVG before long!

So my Google fu is failing me, but was April really the last time we got Genesis games on NSO? If so I suspect we get new Genesis games soon and I need to know what they are soon please Nintendo.

Yeah, Shining Force II, Space Harrier II and Sonic Spinball came out on April 21

Does anyone else find channels like these useful?

This one especially helps me keep track of new games coming out. I would recommend it.

Yes, and also Selaco is the *ing * as my own little PSA.

Such an awesome game. Backed it on Patreon myself and the team has been nothing but exceedingly pleasant to the backers. Really great folks.

I gotta say, I'm WEIRLDY excited for the Partner Showcase tomorrow. First of all, I can definitely understand and empathize with the folks that were hoping and yearning for a General Direct. It's June, our beloved E3-time, so it's reasonable to let excitement get the better of you, especially when Nintendo usually goes all out with their E3-themed Directs.

Thing is however, I, unlike the vast majority of users (understandably so as well), use my Switch as my primary console. I eagerly look forward to basically every third-party announcement there is, which has safely been a bit of a scarcity for a few select Nintendo generations prior to this one. Nevertheless, the biggest revelation of the Switch-era to me has been the huge influx of third-parties jumping on board. I have never before seen a Nintendo console with a more consistent stream of mid-to-high quality releases in a bi-weekly cycle. In addition to that, there's been a plethora of franchises that I never would've dared to think they would ever make their debut on a Nintendo platform. Wolfenstein, Witcher, heck potentially even the godforsaken series that is Persona. A few fellas out there may still think the Switch is doomed and deem the third party support to be awful, but if we hold the Switch up to the standards of select previous consoles, this has been heaven on earth.

Preach

I still feel like a Switch primary, since I was for a couple years, despite now probably shifting over to Steam Deck for most third party titles, so I can relate to this wholeheartedly. Plus, there's probably going to be some new third party announcements, and exclusives like the basically-confirmed Mario + Rabbids, that I'm excited to see

october is now for mario rabbids 2
I wonder if they'll double up on that month or some other month. We've currently got major releases set for every month left but December and August, but we likely have at least two other major titles (Bayo 3 and Prime Remaster) left to be dated
