Like subletting a room off of their own lease? That’s usually banned in most contracts? I do remember people in NYC trying to rent out walk-in closets or bathrooms as “studios”.

It's often banned, but not always. I think it also depends a lot on the state, since some have subletting laws

I am now a Kraken fan, and adolescent me didn’t know what it was like to have my team ripped away from my city until young adult me had it happen with the SuperSonics (sympathize with Quebec fans), but I absolutely loved the avalanche when they had Forsberg, Sakic, and Roy. Real punch to the groin though for Nordiques fans with them winning the first year after they moved. So glad the Thunder never ended up winning a title after they left.

But congrats on the cup.

Not long ago the only affordable thing my girlfriend could find in Portland was a 200-300 square foot space for like, $1000 a month. And I was incredulous with even that.

She swallowed her pride to move back in with her dad for the time being (which he was more than happy about) and wasn't thrilled about it, but that's far better than spending most of your month's wages on a goddamn closet. There's working to live and then there's... Whatever that nightmare is.

I haven't actually started the game yet, but I heard it's really really tough.

it's very emotionally heavy and i'm only halfway through the game I think, it contains depictions of depression, anxiety, suicide and others.
I recommend you to be in a much better mood before playing it. There really is no game like Omori and I'm having one the best experience in my life right now but yeah, you have to be prepared. It's definitely not for everyone.

I thought the rent prices in Switzerland were high, but this is another level of bullshit. Hope that’s a bubble who gonna pop soon, it’s crazy of how much rent has went up since the 70s – while the wages did not.

AI:NI is already pretty interesting, and I'm liking the new mechanics and ideas so far. And I haven't even gotten to the first "OMG WTF" moment that I'm sure will come, nobody does those better than the Zero Escape team

It's sooooo good. I have reached one of the endings, so I've experienced a huge, mind-blowing moment, but I'm sure the game's just getting started, like the first one.

Just curious, how confident are you it’s substantial new hardware (ie Pro, gen 2 Switch, successor) and not like just another color, special edition, or like Switch OLED Lite.

Personally, last June it felt there was way more smoke for something exciting happening. I’m aware a chip exists.
