My guess on Nate not sure is because a Mini Direct can drop on 28 and 29. Again there’s no heads up for a Mini. I just can’t see Nintendo doing a partners. A mini makes way more sense.

Im the same tbh, id be disappointed in a partner showcase but, a mini can still be very good.

Would be a very good mini direct and it's not impossible.
In September we could see BOTW sequel, next FE and some other surprises.
 
Let's await next week Mondays Nintendo tweets. If they don't tweet anything announcement wise at 2, 3 or 4PM CEST I'm gonna say its a mini

Minis are always shadowdropped so I think if it was a Mini, then there'd be no time to release a predictions video. Nate still plans on releasing the video.
 
March 2020 mini started with XenoblaDE release date and ended with SwSh DLC, iirc.

The same "caliber" of announcement would be something like, say .. - Bayo 3 release date, and a Prime HD announcement as closer? And the meddling in the middle (M+R, Splatoon, etc, third parties.. ) of course.
 
Partner directs being back would be interesting. Must mean something in Nintendo idea of marketing if they return.

Mini’s we understand their uses and whatnot.

Tho partners were weirdly handled. Like the first one was revealed at like 9pm or something to be shown at 6am in the morning. And it was a video, not a livestream. Until the monster Hunter one I think lol.

And it was one every month or so?
 
First party updates/announcements in Mini are either ports/remasters, DLC or one of their lower budget mid tier games like Mario Tennis or Kirby Star Allies.

I think its possible that they just dont have much in the way of new stuff thats ready to be announced. Bayo 3, splatoon 3, and pokemon can each get their own direct. They likely wont have anything ready to show for zelda until this september october. I think this is the year we are really going to feel the effects of covid, release wise.

March 2020 pre-Mini vibes right now

Dates for Bayo 3 and Mario Rabbids 2, along with MP1 HD and that can kinda fill out a mini with 1P & 3P updates like Live A Live, Xeno 3, Splat 3, maybe Pokémon SV?, Tactics Ogre & DQ Treasures, Batman Arkham

At least it’s something

Another update on BOTW2 isn’t necessary until September in my opinion, along with WW/TP coming in December being announced in the fall Direct

Advance Wars could get dated with a tweet (I’ve had it preordered for over a year now from that Target B2G1 glitch last year, I just want the game to come out at this point)
 
Ah Partner will be one of the most idotic decisions of all time

The games in that direct will be buried by the rage of the internet in no time
 
Well this must officially be Crap News Day Friday! Between the likely downgrade of the Direct and the Republicans continuing to dismantle Democracy, today sucks. Hey at least it's sunny out!
 
I ain't even mad. At the end of the day its all about the games we are totally playing everyday.

I wouldn't have time to watch it either way because videogames do keep me busy as you know.

Real talk tho: I really don't care. BotW 2's time will come.
sooner-ish than later-ish we will get our desired general direct. Yes sir.
