Hey a new topic, happy new topic everyone. Let's see if I can get more posts here before this one is gone. So my plan to only play chill games before any other heavy RPG turned into "I wanna get okayish with a new weapon in MHR before sunbreak", I'm trying out bow right now :).
 
Used to have a soft spot for Twilight Princess but while my love for the game has abated a bit over time I actually find the manga to be quite fun. Wouldn't really work in the game (at least for me) but it'd make for a decent 1-2 season anime.
 
Ya know what, I really need a master bathroom remodel so I might not be able to play BotW 2. Poo.

Single player is better than the second base single player (Octo expansions still best). Some of the exclusive levels like salt spray rig are the best ones in the series.

I wouldn't mind a port of the Sahdow of the Beast reinterpretation that released on PS4 a few years ago. Especially if the original first three games are included as unlockable :)

I found it, it's a Samsung TV Plus channel, which I have. A 4th Doctor serial is currently airing. Then a few seconds later I was greeted by K9!

Ah completely forget about that reboot. Sadly it was published by Sony, there's absolutely no chance of a port. The original is from Psygnosis, a Sony studio later created Wipeout.

But you're right, Switch needs some more ports form the last decade. It's so barren these days, we need an oasis of game announcements.

Duuude didn't know it was published by Sony... Though it explains the push Sony gave the game and like you said, Psygnosis, Imagine and probably all it's IP got tranferred to Liverpool Studios when aqcuired by Sony.

Still, the new Shadow of the Beast game is like the perfect love letter to the originals. And also plays way better because tbh, I love the atmosphere, looks and music of the three SotB games (thanks to the brother Whitaker), but man, these games were essentialy quite shitty :)

I just want a port of Baroque Wii on Switch. They ported Baroque in 2020 in Japan only but that was the Saturn version and from what I saw the Wii version was definitely something different.
At this point I will emulate the game to have a chance to play it..

Enjoy the specials!

There are still plenty of people playing it (me being one of them). Although it's easier to find a match when it's a reasonable time to play in Japan

That's not entirely impossible, Sting seems to be into porting their legacy games to Switch. But they'd rather find someone to localize that 2020 release. And that might be problematic as Atlus was the one localized the game. Re-translation might be needed.

I wonder if that Knights in the Nightmare will get localized too. Or stuck in license limbo because of current Atlus.

One strange thing about living in an area of dry, dusty, yellow/brown terrain is that these post-apocalyptic places in games like Nier Automata (that I assume are supposed to feel haunting and desolate) instead feel incredibly beautiful and welcoming because stuff is green and alive.

There is a PS2 version too. Baroque on Wii is one of my favourite games ever. Love that game. The intro alone is amazing af:

Oh man, I wonder if the toxic quick respawn ninja jump meta ever made it over to turf war lol. Probably not, but I guess you'll find out.

In general, specials are OP and long ranged stuff is more difficult to deal with in 1. It's very similar overall though.

I've also heard people like that campaign better but honestly I don't really remember it.
