And then you get to the post-gameIt's like getting into a warm bed and having breakfast served to you in the morning after partaking in a full-length marathon over hot coals and Lego.
This is why I'm looking forward to diving into Triangle Strategy soon. Not that the game is easy, I don't think, but it being purely turn-based and with a lot of narrative is going to make it such a change from Elden Ring it'll be some very nice variety.Just saw I had a "Kirby Pre-Order Confirmation" email and, damn, I am so glad that game is coming out the time it is.
After the likely 50+ more hours I'll put into Elden Ring over the next few weeks, the idea of playing a relatively short, incredibly-easy and cute game is very, very enticing. It's like getting into a warm bed and having breakfast served to you in the morning after partaking in a full-length marathon over hot coals and Lego.

My two reactions to this:
I think Ive long reached the limit to which I’m impressed by graphics. Or rather not disappointed by them
Last few days been seeing how bad reception to Valkyrie Elysium and Diofield Graphics and I’m like “looks good”. And then Strangers of Paradise Graphically looks pretty good to me but looks mediocre to a lot of folks lol.
Same. I think this is a good thing though. Games have finally reached the point where art direction is a deliberate choice and we're finally past the point of "which game pushes the graphics hardware the hardest" being a deciding factor when it comes to reviews. That lo-fi 2D games are just as viable as glorified 3D tech demos for new engines and hardware is a huge improvement over the mid-to-late 90's in my book.
The switch has definitely put out some good stuff graphically on its own. Then there are third party games like crysis that look good on their own as well for it.Yeah, I'm at the point where even "low end" graphics can look great to me provided the art direction is on point.
My first video game was Starfox on SNES, and I remember being wowed by the graphics of N64 games like Banjo Kazooie as a kid, so graphics have come so incredibly far just in my relatively young lifetime that plenty of games others might scoff at today are visually pleasing to me.
I see a lot of folks saying how dated Switch looks, but to me stuff like Metroid Dread, Mario Odyssey, or Kirby and the Forgotten Land look awesome. Heck, speaking of Wii U graphics, the likes of Mario Kart 8 and Captain Toad in glorious 720p are still very appealing to my eyes all these years later.
Personally, I don't need 4K or raytracing, today's "low end" Switch games are still beyond my wildest dreams as a kid.
So, if, you're like me, you've always wondered where this gif came from. And one day I set out to find just that. And let me tell you, it's the greatest 10 minutes in soap opera history. My two reactions to this:
A) Godammit
B) I love this gif so much
If "Spartacus" doesn't have Lament of Innocence it deserves to fail.
Waiting for Castlevania 64 to get the expansion pack . But yeah underrated gem
Not even two months at home, and he said, "fuck them kids."Lol! Tom Brady un-retired.
I still cant believe this game has not come to the eshop. Its on everything under the sunI'm still waiting for Symphony of the Night to hit the eShop which is seemingly NEVER going to happen because nothing makes sense anymore.
Nintendo is saved
It is nice. I do like the dark nights around Christmas time, but it’s nice when spring rolls around and we can actually do something outside after work/school.The sun being out past 7 does unexplainable things to my mental health.
Finally adding Super Mario Land 2 style!!!
Finally adding Super Mario Land 2 style!!!
As a Buccaneer fan, I agree with thisFuck Tom Brady.
Uh oh. Time for another historical event.Looking at the release calendar, May is looking pretty weak overall for new releases in the industry, not just for Nintendo.
Good new time to release advanced warsLooking at the release calendar, May is looking pretty weak overall for new releases in the industry, not just for Nintendo.
The industry knew to get the hell out of the way of Nintendo Switch Sports.Looking at the release calendar, May is looking pretty weak overall for new releases in the industry, not just for Nintendo.
Its the month before Xenoblade isn't it?Soul Hackers 2 looking even better. Don't need to see anymore. Gonna most likely pick it up SO LONG AS IT ISN'T RIGHT NEAR XENOBLADE 3.
No piece of media is getting in my way for that.
YepIts the month before Xenoblade isn't it?
Yeah, I’d imagine it won’t be too long since the physical copies are on the boat if not in the warehouses alreadyThey might slide Advance Wars to May. Or throw a curveball and finally localizing Buddy Mission (I wish).
Yeah but end of the month, so if Xenoblade ends up early September it could be quite closeIts the month before Xenoblade isn't it?
