A 20 minute presentation with a focus on games from Japanese publishers? Nintendo fans have a name for something like that.

quaxley looks like one of the kids that frequented young republicans meetings at my college

now that I’ve seen it I can’t unsee it re: cop quaxly

between the bonafide hat hair, the loose notion that a sideways quixote reference could transmute “errant knight” into flop-cop, and the rando live-action cop in the trailer (still ??? about that) — it’s got the Suswave Seal™ of Concern

but I would love to be wrong

Was star fox command any good? A trusted seller I follow has it for a good price and it is one of those games I’m looking into getting from ds
It is…okay? I remember the single player being decent despite the weird controls. My main issue was with multiplayer, which is less of a concern now.

I remember a Dorkly video comparing Mario to Minecraft, and how Minecraft has sold more games than Mario, and Minecraft is the most popular game in the world.
Except, Mario is more popular, and it’s not even close. Mario is the 6th most profitable media franchise OF ALL TIME.

Honestly? I liked the gameplay quite a lot, taking into account that it's adapting a SF2-style game to the DS. Never had issues with the touch controls either, they just worked fine for me.

The writing and tone of the game though, that's another story. I'd say it's a good get if it's at the "I'd pay that for a fun curio"-tier of price.

The Paradise Killer soundtrack showed up in my Discover Weekly and holy shit I'm ready to pick this game up just for the City Pop vibes alone

This would deffo be my dragsona lip sync audition

It had secret endings so weird that you can't find anything remotely similar in any other Nintendo game.
I think those endings get a bit too much flak, tbh. Other than the cringy Kursed ending and the one in which Dash becomes Andross' successor, the rest were pretty standard what-if affairs. Besides that, the core issue is Krystal as a character, and how she often seems to just exists to cause conflict between other characters.

Like, this shit's just cute to me:

It’s Sort of like a reimagining of Star Fox 2. You use the stylus to move ships on the map and then get into dogfighting sections. So if you like this 3D arena portions, then you light like it. Not on rails like the main games. Also, the story elements are so bad they are good. Some absolute out there endings.

Quaxly evoles into Quaptain, and then evolves into Aquack.

Sprigatito evolves into Fevine, and then evolves into Foriger.

Fuecoco evoles into Pyrunch, and then evolves into Charomp.

What can Famiboards learn from Elden Ring
The message experience in Elden Ring is superior.

I actually don't know how the message system works in ER since I did not have PS+ for ages, but I assume it remains largely unchanged from even DS1.

Weapon durability is also a key aspect of BotW's exploration. Finding new weapons is always useful, it doesn't matter if they're not "top tier" weapons since those run out eventually. I still compare the experience of finding new weapons in BotW to finding new ones in a game like Skyrim. In the latter, unless the weapon you found has really interesting properties or is outright better than what you're holding then there's no reason to even pick it up, and that makes exploration a lot less rewarding.
While this is true it doesn't make it interesting. So on paper exploring in BotW is beneficial 100% of the time right. Everything you find in BotW is at least useful. Every shrine you complete has utility, every korok poop you find has utility, and every weapon has utility if for nothing else to throw at something and just pad out your inventory. Like it's always useful. It's also for the same exact reason always boring and unrewarding.

I guess it depends on what kind of person you are when it comes to these kinds of games, but I'll just say the illusion of there being stuff to find in BotW wore off at like hour 10 for me when I realized I was never going to find anything actually unique or interesting. This is especially apparent today vs a game like Elden Ring where no matter where I explore I'll get something unique and interesting. It may be completely useless to me, but I'm always happy to see what it's going to be. It's the idea that no matter where I go I might find something super cool and useful that makes the exploration so much better vs. the exploration always rewarding me but rewarding me in the most boring possible way.

Ok, I'll try.

Quaxly -> Patinero (pata + marinero) ->Almiranata (almirante + anata)

Sprigatito -> Puva (Puma +uva) -> Leovino (leon + vino)

Fuecoco -> Boviman (bovine + caiman) -> Torocán (Toro + volcan)

embarrassing tbh, discord goes down like once a month, it seems like.
It seems AWS is down once again, taking the half of the whole internet with it. Dude's too focused on going space rather than having his web servers perform the way they should.
