Took me about 3-3.5 hours of attempts, really not too bad.
 
In the mood for some Dreamcast action, but at this point I think I’ve played and replayed all my favorite games for it. I think it’s time I finally try Time Stalkers, which doesn’t have the best reputation but we’ll see.

The bit I’ve played wasn’t bad. The genre also isn’t respected in the west, especially in that era. It’s a twist on mystery dungeon

It was a reference to Black Liver Beans from Xenoblade 1, which are notorious for being maybe the rarest collectable in the game. And you need three of them to both complete the collectapedia as well as finish the Colony 6 rebuild. They're in the almost-final area of the game and have a crazy low spawn rate.

Anyways, I've been on cloud nine for a couple of weeks since my little cousin called my personal style "Animal Crossing core". I wanted to dress like Seinfeld (which she's never seen), but I'll take AC-core any day.
 
Hi, all! It's been a while since I've posted in a topic like this one! I hope you're all doing wonderfully, playing all the fun games, and enjoying your week!
 
The past couple of months have been extremely difficult for me, and honestly continue to be hard even now, but I left word with a local therapist and also signed up for an 8-pack of personal training classes at my gym to try to get myself out of this funk :) 2024 sucks horribly so far, but it doesn't have me down yet!

Slowly getting through Mario v DK and Mario Wonder in the meantime ahead of Peach (maybe, lol). Then Dead Space. Also, if any of you like rogues, you NEED to try RoboQuest on Game Pass. I never even heard of it until an IRL buddy recommended it to me -- 2 player co-op, and it's pretty sensational. If any of you have an Xbox, we'd love to add you as friends and get some lobbies going!
 
Went to a job fair yesterday, only to find that it was full, despite registering beforehand. I got an application paper for a company that I already applied to, albeit for one certain position. The only other positions available for that company require a driver's license, which will take me over a year to get, since I just passed my knowledge test. Finding the right job for me has been pretty frustrating, since the ones that pay decently don't require a driver's license, yet commuting there will take about an hour and a half and less than a half hour by car! Some of the other ones that I've been interested in require a degree, so that's out of my league as a college drop-out. I want to try it again, but I want to have enough money to do so without worrying about tuition, hence the job searching. And if that's not enough, I just realized I'm gonna need car insurance, if I wanna take the road test. I'm trying to be more financially secure, but there seem to be so many roadblocks, that it feels like I'm stuck. Even when I make cutbacks, there's still something that just drains my wallet. If there's one positive to living with my parents in my late 20's, it's that I don't need to pay for rent as much as I would have if I lived alone....... Guess I oughta count my blessings.......

Can I just rant a little bit how I find it worrying people don't vaccinate their kids anymore because of antivaxx bullshit on social media? We have a goddamn measles outbreak here in the Netherlands because of this bullshit wtf???
 
I was dusting my Amiibo shelf and going through all the Zelda Amiibo I discovered that the Hylian Crest on the base is turned upside down on Urbosa but all the others are the same.

This is going to bother me more than it should.

It is kind of incredible how his stint in New York has panned out. I thought it would go poorly because he is a declining QB who has been ceded way too much autonomy. I did not think he would become an alt-right podcast jockey, get hurt in 4 plays, and then run for VP of the country.

So after I finish the last case tomorrow in the Apollo trilogy I am starting a new game but still trying to decide between Star Ocean 2 or Unicorn Overload. I'm leaning towards Star Ocean since Unicorn is newer and could maybe receive patches? I have no idea if there are any problems that need an update for but outside of Nintendo games I usually wait to see if there are patches soon after release before jumping in.
 
Theres something so perfect about going for a walk in lightly-falling snow with fresh powder everywhere while listening to Phendrana Drifts.

I really hope Prime 4 has a snowy area, Prime 3’s was way too short.

Allow me to ease your bothers. Check out Urbosa's official art, which the amiibo pose is derived from:

Urbosa's base isn't reversed - while she stands the opposite way in the box (presumably to show the figure better), placing the base in the intended direction has her match the art!

Thank goodness for medicine, otherwise the anxiety spike I get when tornado watches and warnings start popping off in the area would lead to headaches for sure.
Funnily enough, it was a tornado warning that convinced me to finally talk to my doctor about my anxiety causing tension headaches, and I've been pretty fine ever since, so, yay weather!

Yep, I get the same way when severe weather hits in the spring and summer. I got to see a tornado spin outside a kitchen windows about 14 years ago in an outbreak in the Piedmont.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is amazing.

I played one of the GBA ones on Virtual Console way back, but it didn't grab me. Forgotten Land might make me go back and revisit the series if it's as good as this.

To be fair, he had already gone full alt-right before coming to New York and he was already appearing on McAfee's show because he needed someone to pamper his failing ass.
