My question is this; if I buy this subscription today, and I have an active sub until May, will this make my sub last until October 25th 2022, or May whatever 2023?

I see room for Wave RaceOkay, initial datamining time. There are at least 38 N64 games planned for the service.
They're listed alphabetically, so you could try to guess which games fall into the gaps. I'm certain #37 is Majora's Mask and 14-16 are Mario Party 1-3, for example.
32 and 33 are likely Smash and Wave Race, yeah.I see room for Wave Race
I don't think the emulation is bad (I guess it's different for pro speed runners) but the joycon just aren't good hardwareSo if what I'm hearing is correct, the emulation is terrible? And Nintendo is charging 30 extra bucks for this? They can't be serious.
You cannot upgrade as an individual in a family plan. The person who pays Nintendo for the plan will need to upgrade. All the purchase options are grayed out and say "This cannot be purchased because someone in your family has an active family membership" both on the eShop and from the browser store.
Uh? I'm actually seeing more people praising the emulator; it's actually the same of 3D All-Stars, which isn't bad at allSo if what I'm hearing is correct, the emulation is terrible? And Nintendo is charging 30 extra bucks for this? They can't be serious.
If it's the same one NERD used for 3d all stars it should be good.Uh? I'm actually seeing more people praising the emulator; it's actually the same of 3D All-Stars, which isn't bad at all
That wasn't NERD.If it's the same one NERD used for 3d all stars it should be good.
It wasn't, was it EPD then? That wasn't NERD.
I'm not sure we know for sure, but it was likely internal. It wasn't, was it EPD then?
I see. Pretty wild that Switch has two very different versions of Mario 64.I'm not sure we know for sure, but it was likely internal.
Regarding Mario 64 for NSO, it's the NTSC version used in virtual console.
So I learned tonight that our family plan is renewed through my wife's profile and not mine, weird. Problem solved, thanks! You cannot upgrade as an individual in a family plan. The person who pays Nintendo for the plan will need to upgrade.
If they don't want to, your only alternative is to leave and pay for an individual plan (or find a new family group).
I guess we will find out soon enough.Does the NSO version of Mario 64 still have the "gay bowser"?
Gotcha. You can transfer the admin from your wife's account if that's what you want.So I learned tonight that our family plan is renewed through my wife's profile and not mine, weird. Problem solved, thanks!
Hmm I wonder if they'd actually rerelease Mario Party 1. I hope they do but I'll assume those sports are for Party 2 and 3, and Mario Golf.Okay, initial datamining time. There are at least 38 N64 games planned for the service.
They're listed alphabetically, so you could try to guess which games fall into the gaps. I'm certain #37 is Majora's Mask and 14-16 are Mario Party 1-3, for example.
The SM64 ROM on NSO is the vanilla NTSC version of the game; just looking at the copyright date on the title screen should be a giveaway. If it's the same one NERD used for 3d all stars it should be good.
I know Mario 64 used an updated previously Japan only version for 3d all stars that has a bunch of bug fixes which neuters a lot of speed running methods. I wonder which version is on the app.
Okay, initial datamining time. There are at least 38 N64 games planned for the service.

Golf would be before Kart.Hmm I wonder if they'd actually rerelease Mario Party 1. I hope they do but I'll assume those sports are for Party 2 and 3, and Mario Golf.
Chatted about it elsewhere but the base is likeltOkay, initial datamining time. There are at least 38 N64 games planned for the service.

The rest is messier of course outside of filling out the first party stuff

- Banjo kazooie
- Custom robo

- Diddy Kong racing
- DK64
I messed around with a few games on both the N64 and Genesis apps and the emulation seems great. So if what I'm hearing is correct, the emulation is terrible? And Nintendo is charging 30 extra bucks for this? They can't be serious.
Yeah emulation isn't the problem, online multiplayer though...I messed around with a few games on both the N64 and Genesis apps and the emulation seems great.

Mega Drive proved to be even more interesting.
At least 52!
And if you needed more proof that at least one additional NSO platform is coming, look at the first digit of the game IDs. SNES was 2, N64 was 3, MD is 5. Essentially; Game Boy is coming.
Whoops, yeah, accidentially missed it. It's 28.Phantasy Star 4 isn't on that list?
Please point me to a better solution than delay-based netplay used in a generalized emulator.Online multiplayer is garbage as usual with Nintendo. When this fling company fix this. Ffs is 2021. Get on fking board already. So pathetic.
Please don’t quote me. Idk if an ignore button exists. You already made fun of me earlier. I don’t want to interact with you. Please point me to a better solution than delay-based netplay used in a generalized emulator.
It doesn't exist.
Going by Wikipedia yes.Are the three Mario Party games really the only games that would fit between Mario Kart and Mario Tennis?
I'm sorry; that wasn't my intent, and I didn't consider my words could be taken that way. That's on me. I can edit out those posts if you like. Please don’t quote me. Idk if an ignore button exists. You already made fun of me earlier. I don’t want to interact with you.
You forgot Custom Robo V1 and 2Quoting again. Here are my guesses.

A couple of wishful thinking picks in there. Normally I wouldn't have put the Pokemon Stadium games in there but there is a lot of space between tennis and S&P so you can't rule it out. Also I was a little surprised at how fast the top filed up.
Wipeout 64? Wouldn't they have to negotiate with Sony for that?Quoting again. Here are my guesses.

DD functionality was scrapped from that game, but it has other weirdness going on.Going by Wikipedia yes.

Unless Nintendo adds N64DD games and we get Mario No Photopi
You forgot Custom Robo V1 and 2
Wipeout 64? Wouldn't they have to negotiate with Sony for that?
Worms seems reasonably plausible to me. Although Wipeout 64 might actually convince me to actually pay for NSO...That probably cancels out Bomberman from my list. Not sure if we get both though.
The only other reasonable options I can find between Win Back and Yoshi's Story are Worms Armageddon and World Class Driver.
Unless Nintendo goes nuts and throws us a WWF game in there.......
