That's me, I just need one thing tbh, and if it was a partner, id leave happy if we got the FF Pixel Remasters or some Persona games. As long they show something Zelda Related I‘m happy, Il take everything else as s nice Bonus.

Alanah Pearce said 29 though. You know, if the direct is supposed to be on the 28th in most timezones (Oceania excluded presumably) like Nate said on Era, that WOULD place it in Mini Direct time... might have to join Team Mini at this rate.
Would feel wrong if we had to wait until September for the next full general, but I guess this timing at the end of the month is already abnormal for Nintendo so can you really write off something in July?
well i don't think this annoucement will put market on fire, but surely my heart will. How dare thee
I think my time zones are totally off because I thought 28th/29th would be later in the day on the 28th US time (where I am) and early in the morning on the 29th Japan timeYou know, if the direct is supposed to be on the 28th in most timezones (Oceania excluded presumably) like Nate said on Era, that WOULD place it in Mini Direct time... might have to join Team Mini at this rate.

Why do you think it's 28th in most timezones? A ton of people heard 29th and Nate has said 28th/potentially 29th in some timezones. I think it's safe to expect the 28th in the US at this point but if most people heard the 29th that suggests it's not the 28th in most timezones which indicates a normal direct time if anythingYou know, if the direct is supposed to be on the 28th in most timezones (Oceania excluded presumably) like Nate said on Era, that WOULD place it in Mini Direct time... might have to join Team Mini at this rate.

It should be the 28th in all timezones. 28th/29th was just hedging bets and to cover all possible outcomes. As for why others claimed 29th... I have no idea; but the 28th has always been the date I was given -- hence the Elmo gif tease from even before Pierce gave the date. You know, if the direct is supposed to be on the 28th in most timezones (Oceania excluded presumably) like Nate said on Era, that WOULD place it in Mini Direct time... might have to join Team Mini at this rate.

At the end of the day, that's all that matters.well i don't think this annoucement will put market on fire, but surely my heart will.
So you're confident it's happening the morning of the 28th in the US then?It should be the 28th in all timezones. 28th/29th was just hedging bets and to cover all possible outcomes. As for why others claimed 29th... I have no idea; but the 28th has always been the date I was given -- hence the Elmo gif tease from even before Pierce gave the date.
It'll probably be 12 AM on the 29th in my timezone if it falls into one of the regular non-general direct timeslots, which is what I was pointing out; but otherwise yeah, looking like the 28th is the day.It should be the 28th in all timezones. 28th/29th was just hedging bets and to cover all possible outcomes. I guess that means late night in Australia and not after midnight. It should be the 28th in all timezones. 28th/29th was just hedging bets and to cover all possible outcomes. if it's the 28th for all timezones then i guess general is still not ruled outIt should be the 28th in all timezones. 28th/29th was just hedging bets and to cover all possible outcomes. I actually think the same, as im sure of "Tactical segment" with FF Tactics and Tactics Ogrei wonder if that FF9 remake will be announced during a direct since apparently, it's closer in scale to the trails of mana remake then the FF7 remakes
Well the 29th has the shareholder meeting, so there may be something both days. What if…there’s something on the 28th and the 29th O.O
Ok for real tho third party games on the 28th it is. Hope we have some good third party surprises - Mario and Rabbids is a known quantity. I’d be happier for that game to just release than to bother seeing it again in a Direct.
well the japan was always different timezone for generalif it's the 28th for all timezones then i guess general is still not ruled out
maybe I'm wrong but Nate just speculated and not hinted about Bayonetta 3 not being there on 28th, so who knows. perphaps the game will get a dedicated Direct later in August/July? this, with Splatoon 3 and Pokémon, could cement the Grubb statement about several small/dedicated showcases. Then also for me it will strange if Bayonetta 3 have any chance of delay, the last interview of Kamiya talking about plaiyng 1&2 before the game comes out cemented to me that is 2022 for sure
GOD, imagine if the direct was at like 9am estwell the japan was always different timezone for general
Pretty cool. Use to love this guy's clips on reddit.
All right Fami, I’m going to bed. Don’t burn down the thread while I’m gone.

Mini Direct is eventually good, Partner Showcase is shit - Shigeru Miyamoto, creative fella at Nintendo
Welcome to the Persona 3 4 and 5 Cloud Edition DirectGood things happen when you least expect it.
Awesome because after today it's hard to expect good things so I guess that means the 48-hour Direct some were theorizing is miraculously still on the tableGood things happen when you least expect it.
Announcement over the weekend? Got it.Good things happen when you least expect it.
yeah this is where I am too. a 2022 focused showcase with some confirmation, 1-2 small annoucements and updates. Splatoon 3 and Pokémon could have a deep down/dedicated Direct later in the summer, and an early September Direct could be dedicated to 2023.I mean if we get a mini that gives us updates on 2022 games, with maybe a new port (like WW, TP, or MP), that's be perfectly content until something more substantial in September.
they've announced generals only 1 day before premierSo last chance for it to be a general is a Sunday announcement right?
I’m pretty sure it’s like 30-32 hours or something (to be exact). Hence why it won’t be a General. Monday morning announcement for a General Direct is for a Tuesday afternoon, which means many countries will be on June 29th.they've announced generals only 1 day before premier
