Tom: It's just not.
Nate: Why not you stupid bastard?

Yeah I’m gonna need confirmation of first party gamesSame, the only problem is Nate hasn't discounted the possibility of a partner direct.
I wouldn'tMario Kart tracks would definitely be shown at a mini
Prime Remaster could end the show
Bayo 3 date could open it
I’d be satisfied with that
he probably heard it would be on new hardware and made the assumption that it wasthat was clearly bullshit, and one of jason's most embarrassing tweets, i think he ended up deleting it?
nothing about what was shown was out of the ordinary for the current hardware.
I don't think nate really knows that sort of thing tbh, hence his inability to rule out a partnerYeah I’m gonna need confirmation of first party games
True, feel like there’s a specific 3rd party game people have known about would be shown for a while and that’s why we have had this date rumored for so longhe probably heard it would be on new hardware and made the assumption that it was

Prime HD in September hurts, but release date for Re-Boot Camp means I could live with it.I was planning on waiting until the direct was announced to make my set of predictions, but since Mini's are never announced ahead of time, I'll make my contingency predictions here if that's what ends up happening. If a full direct is announced, I'll scrap these and make a prediction for that. These aren't ordered, as there isn't really any sort of defined structure for a Mini.
Metroid Prime HD and Fire Emblem saved for the next general direct, probably September. Mario + Rabbids unveiled by Ubisoft later on.
- Bayonetta 3 gameplay, release date in October
- Splatoon 3 gameplay, direct in July
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass Wave 2, early July
- Mario Strikers update, shadowdrop
- Switch Sports update, shadowdrop
- Everybody's 1-2-Switch reveal, August
- Bunch of 3rd party stuff (Humankind, Arkham Collection, Persona, etc.)
- Advance Wars new release date, probably just placed in a sizzle reel, August
- Zelda HD remasters, September
well thanks! Life have not been easy past few weeks but if anything posting in this madness some shitpost bullshit is something that gives me fun. Can't wait what happens on Tuesday.thanks. you made my day
Seems plausible. Valve gives Nintendo Half Life 3 and Nintendo gives Valve a 1-2-Switch port. What if it’s a Partner Direct with Valve announcing Switch exclusive Half Life 3???
A tiny price to pay for immense salvation. Not even my most vivid fever dreams would make me depict a highly unlikely scenario like that one. What if it’s a Partner Direct with Valve announcing Switch exclusive Half Life 3???
I could easily see it showing up here, but I'm trying to keep my expectations in check if its a Mini. Think it's a November game regardless.Prime HD in September hurts, but release date for Re-Boot Camp means I could live with it.
When Valve kept saying they needed another big leap in tech to make the next Half Life worthwhile, that certainly wasn't ever what I had imagined. What if it’s a Partner Direct with Valve announcing Switch exclusive Half Life 3???
Like I've said before, I'd bet on that being Mario + Rabbids. Ubisoft is leaky as hellTrue, feel like there’s a specific 3rd party game people have known about would be shown for a while and that’s why we have had this date rumored for so long
"I have standards"Now we know why the Snitch didn't leak the Direct. They said fuck this Mini shit ain't worth it LUL
the mythical good year is like tomorrow, it keeps getting closer but never comes"2022 is going to be awesome yayy"
2022: BOTW2 is delayed, here is a Partner Direct
What, I go to work for five hours and everything goes to shit?
I get what you’re saying. I brought it up to say they know Ubisoft has a dev kit for the new Switch. They assumed at the time the new Switch was going to be revealed and Ubisoft showed Mario + Rabbids running on it.that was clearly bullshit, and one of jason's most embarrassing tweets, i think he ended up deleting it?
nothing about what was shown was out of the ordinary for the current hardware.
Nate: "I'm anticipating an edit" (reason for not uploading his predictions waiting to see if edits are needed depending on if its a Partner/Mini)What, I go to work for five hours and everything goes to shit?
the mythical good year is like tomorrow, it keeps getting closer but never comes
This is why you need to embrace the anime, weebs haven't had a bad year since the Switch startedthe mythical good year is like tomorrow, it keeps getting closer but never comes
What do you mean? This is the BEST year for gaming yet!the mythical good year is like tomorrow, it keeps getting closer but never comes
the Direct Bus when we thought we would finally catch up with it:the mythical good year is like tomorrow, it keeps getting closer but never comes
2018 also had Dragon Quest XI, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 6, and Valkyria Chronicles 4. Still a good year overall. This is why you need to embrace the anime, weebs haven't had a bad year since the Switch started
Ok well 2018 wasn't great but it did have Octopath and Torna
sameI still don’t understand how we get so much begging for a switch pro, yet multiple games running on the regular switch get “this looks too good, must be on pro” comments
Just makes me not take any of it seriously
I'd be pleasantly surprisedHow would you all react if it's a new hardware reveal instead of a Direct?
Good good. That means you line up with what Nate has been saying. For whatever little good this is worth, I think several days ago I said I hadn't heard anything about a Direct this coming week and now I have if that helps.
Considering the final CO's power is a meteor strike, that would be... oddly poetic. What if it's to announce new hardware, but it comes bundled with an exclusive launch game: Everybody's Stinky Horseplay
Every copy comes with a hand-placed sticker on the case, "ONLY for Nintendo Switch Plus"
Hackers get it running on 2017 Switches before the official release date, but at least Nintendo can clean out their basement. They start printing "Chess" stickers to put over "AdvanceWarsChess", only for a meteor to tragically strike a chess tournament two weeks before the new release.
Do you know if it's General or Mini? For whatever little good this is worth, I think several days ago I said I hadn't heard anything about a Direct this coming week and now I have if that helps.
GUYS, I got it. It's a Pikmin Direct. Remember Nate said: does not get obsessed with branding and no one is obsessed with Pikmin.
Well the last time we got a non e3 treehouse was right after a partner showcase to be fair : Pwhat sucks about no general direct (assuming this is a mini/partner) is that there will be no treehouse. that's a big bummer.
same
fuck this rollercoaster man lolFor whatever little good this is worth, I think several days ago I said I hadn't heard anything about a Direct this coming week and now I have if that helps.
the bakugan one? oh god, i've been trying to erase that from memory.Well the last time we got a non e3 treehouse was right after a partner showcase to be fair : P
