i trust Nate that we’re getting a direct next week. He’s been firm on this for a month now
I think if Nintendo is going to bring that back, they'd have something big to announce, like they did with the Monster Hunter Direct. Otherwise these didn't go down all that well. I suppose we'll find out soon what's in store.I agree for General/Mini, but at this point I don't see the reason for a Partner Showcase, so that would be disappointing.
Now I'm conflicted on what I wantIf it’s a Mini, I’ll drink a smoothie made of bumblebees.
I expect video, good sir.If it’s a Mini, I’ll drink a smoothie made of bumblebees.
Nate hinted at the possibility that the Direct might not be a general Direct and this thread went full-on apocalypse mode.
Yeah, that's about what I expected. Oh well, a bit disappointing since I always reveled in the reassuring feeling when E3 time hits, as that usually meant Nintendo went all-out, but that's life, you don't always get what you yearn for. Not at all. At the end of the day, it's just extended commercials we're eagerly anticipating.this pretty much sums the last couple hours...or at least the most recent part.
Already found my answer to that specific question months ago: 1-2 Switch somehow getting an even worse sequel.
Clubhouse games as well if I recall. The March 2020 mini had, on the first party/big exclusives front:
- new showing for Xenoblade DE
- reveal that the next Smash character was from ARMS
- 4 minutes on Bravely Default II
- ended with a look at Pokémon expansion pass
Much less than I remembered lol
I suppose it could open with Bayo 3?

Yeah Mini’s don’t have much, but we do have a good amount of smaller titles rumored, ports and games that need more details that can fit with a Mini like Bayo 3 or WWHD or Mario + Rabbids or Metroid or Mario Kart dlcThe March 2020 mini had, on the first party/big exclusives front:

Posts like this are so uncalled for. This is a speculation thread so people are speculating about what Nintendo's reasoning might be for going with a Mini over a General Direct in June. Going off at people for harmless speculation over posting some fantasy wishlist is completely out of line.Well fucking said. I'm with you 100%.
It's the same kind of thing that rubs me so raw when people only want to talk in terms of "sales" for a corporation they have no stake in. Consumer drones are the worst ( ...he says, posting on a Nintendo fan forum... )
I think Clubhouse Games is the most overlooked/underappreciated first-party Switch game. It rips.Clubhouse games as well if I recall.
Oh? What did they say?If Brazil is right, then at the time that Direct drops i'll be in the middle of a train station, running to get to work. facepalm
Apologies for getting off track, then. I definitely didn't mean any offense. Just that Plum's frustration resonated with me.Posts like this are so uncalled for. me and the other cucks are going to be pissed when it's just a regular, long, good direct like we expected two weeks agoI can tell this is going to be a fun weekend
See I could see all those things being in a mini, but all of them at once? IdkYeah Mini’s don’t have much, but we do have a good amount of smaller titles rumored, ports and games that need more details that can fit with a Mini like Bayo 3 or WWHD or Mario + Rabbids or Metroid or Mario Kart dlc
This is Clubhouse Games erasure that I will not stand for. Good Job was revealed here too, as well as a lot of smaller updates and games: Ring Fit, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and Animal Crossing. The March 2020 mini had, on the first party/big exclusives front:

BetIf it’s a Mini, I’ll drink a smoothie made of bumblebees.
I work 7-3:30 tomorrow, am attending a 50-person party for my dad, and am working 3-8:30 Sunday so sureI can tell this is going to be a fun weekend
That's my thought. A general direct in June less than a year before release of the game sets the expectation of Zelda BotW 2 being there.See I could see all those things being in a mini, but all of them at once? Idk
Part of me is wondering if they’re doing a mini to escape the expectation of showing BotW2 that would come with a general lol
Oh? What did they say?
Yep and it fits with what we’re guessing could be there. This is Clubhouse Games erasure that I will not stand for. Good Job was revealed here too, as well as a lot of smaller updates and games: Ring Fit, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and Animal Crossing.
Of course they did. It's going to be in the direct.Nintendo heard God of War was showing up next week
I’m kinda bummed I skipped it… but I was already super hyped and didn’t need more info XDXC3 Direct was the best game specific direct I’ve watched aside from the Smash august 2018 direct, yeah
Look, all I really need to see in any Direct - General, Mini, whatever - is Metroid Prime HD. Nearly the entire rest of my gaming year is already spoken for. I still need to beat Elden Ring, of all things.
June 29th is when the first iPhone came out. Donkey Kong Run let's goooooo

that was clearly bullshit, and one of jason's most embarrassing tweets, i think he ended up deleting it?Does anyone recall when Mario + Rabbids SoH was shown? Didn’t Imran and Jason Schreier imply that it was new switch hardware we saw?
good post

Same, the only problem is Nate hasn't discounted the possibility of a partner direct.A direct mini is still a direct with a chance for Wind Waker HD, so I’m okay if that’s what we get.
