Very curious about summoning every lord from past games. At a certain point wouldn’t they be a bit…samey? I’d also hate to see it take away from new characters. I wonder if there’s a limit on how many old ones you can have at once or something.
In theory the various prior lords could be diversified even in their bubble of samey sword lords
Marth would be able to use the Fire Emblem to unlock chest, take reduced damage from dragons, and have an unlimited weapon that does extra damage to dragons.
Alm would have access to bows and possibly his unique weapon arts
Seliph would have a horse, negate enemy skills, and potentially get a big bonus to resistance with his signature weapon making him a great boss killer
Lief would have his light brand for 1-2 range magic attack on top of built in adapt for potential free attacks
Roy would have a horse, have a 1-2 range sword that can heal him, and do extra damage to dragons
Eliwood would have a horse, lances, and his signature sword gives him a strength boost
Erika gets kinda screwed here, she's basically eliwood but doesn't have lances, though I guess she's a bit faster
. Her weapon is effective against monsters which could be useful if enemies like that are in this game.
Ike would have axes, his Aether ability, and access to his special 1-2 range sword.
Chrom would have lance access, aether, and access to another dragon slaying Falchion, and maybe be a unique paired character with Robin.
Corrin would have their dragon abilities
Byleth would have access to white magic (and brawling if it's in this game), the sword of the creator with it's unique abilities, and maybe be the only character who can do a battalion charge.
I know this isn't all the lords, I'm just focusing on the samey sword lords. There's enough differences there where most of them would be useful in different situations depending upon your team build up and what challenges you saw in the upcoming battle.
