Im not a fan of Red Letter Media anymore, but the first thing it came to my mind at watching the video is "What´s wrong with your faAAAAce?"
 
Someone on another forum pointed this out; in that big "go fuck yourselves" rant, not once did he call the website X, he called it Twitter every time.
 
I have a feeling the death of this platform is going to be the longest death rattle known to mankind.

honestly i have to hope that even she can't be this dumb: if the head of the company is cursing out advertisers and burning money and making every darn thing good about the site bad you think she'd just oust and overthrow him already but no, he wont fucking leave

i just want my darn outlet to promote my reviews back and talk with JP Gamedevs, damn it
 
Part of me wonders if it's sunk cost fallacy, if she wants to try and wrangle some success out of this debacle for... pride? Her reputation? But it's never going to work, so she's reduced to 'Who #ViceCity here on X???' rubbish while her boss casually retweets blood libel or whatever.

Who knows though. You have to wonder about the kind of person who would take on the job knowing what she was walking into.

If Elon wanted to pay me 7 figures to make an ass of myself on twitter for a few months I'd do it. We need more people grifting conservative billionaires.

Jumping off this- Linda is an advertising specialist who was likely brought on for a smokescreen and in hopes she could use her express talents to bring advertisers back to the platform. It's likely there's no dirt he specifically has on her- just her signing on for a huge amount of money and a clause in the contract that if she tries to jump ship, it goes down exponentially.
I don't feel bad for anyone anywhere here, especially given that her history is a newer part to this shifting story, but, as per usual, the goal is securing as much money from those the most willing to spend it. 44 billion dollars [even if it's not all his, and takes investments from outside sources] is no chump change, and I wouldn't be surprised if Linda saw something like $1 bil for being involved.

I have a hard time seeing how this all ends. It's obvious to everyone that Twitter and Musk are bleeding cash. But I don't think Musk cares. He'll keep this thing afloat however he can before he ever throws in the towel.
