Also, where do you wanna stop? Twitter, YouTube etc. is full of clowns who monetize on what is discussed here and other places. This was so clear to me when I had one thread and the next day it was a YouTube video.

Yeah I realize this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think we should leave Samus Hunter alone.

Sure, we may find them annoying, but we can always just ignore them and go on with our lives, there's no need to hassle them. The internet already has so much hostility, there's no need to add more.

One of the best things about Famiboards is the wholesome and positive attitude, let's stick with that instead.

I don't think Nintendo is involved with Touken Ranbu, even though it's console-exclusive (and full exclusive in US/EU)

They just want to use the one boat to ship all the copies. They're being efficient.

I feel like NERD made another attempt to patch fog into Ocarina of Time but just hit my hometown instead.

My favourite thing about this idea is that NERD don't have the resources or time to nail N64 emulation, but they do have the power to unintentionally alter the fabric of reality.

100% agreed with this. It already seems to be the case that Raccoon is Samus Hunter, so at least it's a member of the community sharing this stuff through Twitter. We don't need to draw any more attention to this.

The offline remake will probably end up being quite different from the online game. The characters in your party are NPCs in the online game, for example, so their roles on the story are probably heavily adapted.

I guess that makes sense, especially since this is going to be primarily for Japan anyway. The artstyle change is still regrettable. I usually don't mind chibi models but DQX's seem even more extreme than usual. Something like DQIX's proportions would have been a nice middle ground to me.

I spent a year applying to hundreds of places that ignored me so I started teaching myself blender to have something to do each day. Also luckily for me my parents have a treadmill.

I really like it. Technical shortcomings aside, it is a lot of fun. Even ended up buying the DLC.

I have my tinfoil hat theory that FF9 remake is (timed) Switch exclusive. Nintendo years ago talk with Square demanding an exclusive mainline FF RPG and they offered them the idea of making a “high budget” remake of FFIX (not as high as FFVII but more than Trials of Mana).

FFIX is the one of the PS1/2 entries with more cartonish/stylish style and has a medieval setting like early FF games. Its the most “Nintendo aesthetic” game of them.

I would be very surprised that nintendo paid to get (timed) exclusive mainline DQ and MH games but not Final Fantasy. (And also Resident Evil but we know that something is or was coming haha).

I got nothing but ignored and rejected for a year so went back to minimum wage retail where my colleagues gradually noted that there was less and less life in my eyes. Eventually I did a traineeship in what is considered one of my nation's worst towns, then got a masters for that job, and now I've been working in the field for a decade. It's unsatisfying, I have imposter syndrome (read: I'm bad at it), my colleagues hate me, and I've probably reached the point at which there's not much room for growth beyond moving into management (which I'm told I'm not a good fit for, and I agree). Some would consider my home "uninhabitable" or whatever, but it hasn't killed me yet! I haven't spoken to my family in the better part of a decade. But I have a job! For now. Everywhere I've ever worked has undergone 'restructuring' lol.

On the plus side, gaming is really good right now and I've started seeing ads for matcha flavoured Tia Maria. It gets better!

In all honesty though, a lot of people end up okay and most of the rest of us are at least getting by, you know? And there are nice things to fill the time. If Square Enix don't drop Chrono Cross soon I'm gonna be a real handful for my community mental health team though.

God I am so glad I am not a parent every time Christmas rolls around. The deals site I follow is listing PS5s available online...in £500-650 bundles that won't deliver until December 31st at the earliest. I'm imagining parents having to explain to little Timmy that yes, Santa has also been affected by the chip shortage so can't make as many next gen consoles this year.
