Late September is typically where I ready my comfy sweaters for cozy autumn time, but it looks like summer is coming back for one last round, and I just want to go on record that I am not okay with that.

New Vanillaware game means new Sakimoto and Basiscape's music and I can't wait for them to deliver a masterpiece.

That sure is a game they can comfortably drop on Switch, or even cross-gen, while their main focus is on the successor.
 
Percy Jackson and the Chalice of the Gods releases today! For those unaware, it's the Sixth book in the Percy Jackson series (Takes place after the sequel series, Heroes of Olympus)

Anyone else picking it up? Used to be one of my all time favorite series in High School. I'm excited, though I'm basically expecting it to just be stealth promo for the Disney+ series, but I'm excited to hop back into the world and revisit these characters after so long.
 
I kept getting recommended videos for this fake mod for Pokemon Snap that was posted two years ago and for FUCK'S sake why hasn't anyone actually went out of their way to mod the Pokemon Snap n64 ROM for more courses/Pokemon to photograph???

Is Pokemon Snap getting decompiled like other N64 games? I hope so, because this use case would be awesome.

I really need to get back to New Pokemon Snap lol

It looks like it is, I found a GitHub link for a decompiled Pokemon Snap but it hasn't been touched since April this year; no idea if that means it's finished or its been abandoned. Seems to have almost no activity or notes otherwise. But man... Snap combined with Stadium 1 & 2 models to make courses incorporating all 251 Pokemon to photograph would be absolutely dope

Lowkey same, it's been a hot minute and I know I haven't finished getting photos of all the legendaries yet. I don't expect I'd go back to get four stars for all Pokemon, but I would be content to at least complete the Pokedex
 


I don't even know for sure if I want to start streaming with any kind of regularity, but goddamn this is mighty tempting. Decent price and the built-in passthrough is a selling point for me.

I bought my Bluetooth adapter for Switch before Nintendo enabled it for headphones from Genki's first Kickstarter, and this looks like they'll knock it out of the park again no problem. Super happy too that their updated covert dock is futureproofed for 4K60 HDMI

Now onto New Game++! The third (and final) playthrough is the best, though, ‘cause you get access to the Lv. 4 Fit Skills which makes every Fit Skill on par with each other, allowing you to freely use whatever skills you want, including the ones that you probably didn’t use much before because they were outclassed by others in terms of damage output.
 
I was thinking it would be something more like that 5 First Dates game Wario keeps tweeting about from time to time with the woman flashing her feet in the thumbnail, not... whatever that game is.

the switch app should have streetpass, activity log and the ability to upload a photo you took to any given play session so you can remember when AND where you played whatever you played. Like taking a selfie in an airplane or hotel balcony or something. Also maybe just standard location on a map. Those features would of course be opt-in
 
The Switch 2 could easily be my favourite console if they decide to bring some of the 3DS features back and have backwards compatibility alone. If the next OS/UI looks basically just like the Switch 1 and it doesn't have any preloaded apps or anything I'll be mildly disappointed
 
Amazon will delay and hope a Republican wins next year and give them sweet bribes to have the FTC end this lawsuit.
 
I was kinda beginning to gel with Starfield then my cool spacesuit completely vanished for no reason. Garbage.
