Man. Pyoro be bumming me out haha. One of my favorite parts of Directs is the hype and speculation combined with seeing everyone's reaction to the actual event. Now I've ignored the Direct thread on here and I don't even feel safe going into any Direct announcement thread. For sure expecting someone to go "Heck yeah, can't wait to actually see <spoiler>, <spoiler>, and <spoiler>. Pyroro da god" no matter how many rules about leaks are posted. I just got spoiled on one thing in the Hardware thread which sucks.

But truly it's the community aspect that is taken away that bums me out. It's divided now into those who know, and those who are trying not to. And this thread, as cool as it is, clearly shows most people would rather see the leaks instead of discuss it here spoiler-free. Which is great for them! Glad they're getting that. Just personally disappointed in a very first-world kind of way haha. Oh well, it gives me time to go finish TotK instead of being caught up in Direct hype

I have a work-provided Windows machine that I exclusively use to do my job. All of my personal devices are Apple (M1 Mac Mini, M1 iPad Air, iPhone 12 Pro Max, AirPods Pro 2, Apple Watch Series… something, I forget)

I really love how everything is just everywhere without having to think about it. I take a photo on my iPhone, and it’ll just be on my iPad when I need it. I start typing something on my iPad, and then I move over to my home computer (which unlocks automatically with my Apple Watch) for the better keyboard, etc etc. I know “it just works” is a oft-repeated phrase with regards to the Apple ecosystem but it’s true: stuff just works. I’ll never switch to Windows or Android, Apple stuff is just too convenient.
AppleTV, too?

Man is about to one-up Attack on Titan with its final seasons

Truly the Cher of anime

I'm having to avoid pretty much all threads now. People are posting Pyoro leaks in Future Hardware and game franchise threads as well. I now know of one game that was gonna be a huge surprise to me, because several people are just blasting it in other threads now 😩

🎶“Do you Believe in Life After The Boy And the Heron!?!”🎶

Miyazaki will not go down like Jesse James.

(Maybe my mom listened to Cher a lot when I was a kid)

Also, for leaks we are trying our best to redirect and contain but it’s hard…

With how much I am enjoying the iPad experience so far, I can totally see myself moving over all my multimedia consumption and such from my Windows laptop to it. The only two things keeping me on Windows are, as mentioned before, games (which I could still play on Steam Deck or, even better, Switch 2 😏), and some work / productivity related features / apps.
Luckily, most other things I use regularly are available on almost all platforms and OS, so it would be pretty easy for me to ditch one for the other, if the time came.

Only Nintendo keep having me by the balls thanks to their mostly unique offerings, be it hard- or software.

Awwww I'm sorry about the spoiler. I don't even blame people spreading it inadvertently, it was inevitable once Pyroro basically gave the world the call sheet. I would have ignored the Hardware thread too, but the articles posted yesterday are still too juicy and I am hungry to see if more hw leaks/rumors come out as a result of it

Kinda wild that we're at the 7th anniversary of AA6 now and the only known upcoming release is the "Apollo Justice Trilogy." AAs 1-4 released in the span of seven years, as did Takumi's PLvPW and GAA. You gotta wonder what their plans are for the next few years, considering the only other potential rereleases would be Investigations and PLvPW

I need to find a different doctor lol. My current one tries to tell me my ear canal wasn’t swollen. I wear hearing aids and it hurts to put the right one in right now. He still did end up prescribing ear drops and antibiotics so hopefully my ear pain will be done soon.

This seems so excessive. Yikes.
It is. Main issue here is that Japan doesn't have the concept of fair( they have some exceptions though) use so you need permission from the copyright holders to show anything ( which is why most wiki are text only)

Already seeing BIG GAMES LEAK on my Youtube feed. Maybe I can dupe the algorithm by going full blast on animal trivia videos, music and food trips... That or abstain from Youtube and just binge anime

I'm willing to bet Baldur's Gate 3 will be on the next Nintendo console and won't buy the PS5 version. I think it's a game I would absolutely love, but it's also a game I would like to play on a handheld device.

Kinesiology 202: What is the best player-controlled character movement in video games? It could be overall control dynamics or a hyper specific motion element of the gameplay. Please give you reasons. Will accept NPC movement as well if it contributes to the main characters actions.
I can't explain it, but I find the movement in Super Smash Bros. deeply intuitive and responsive to the point that I suspect it's ruined for me for other games, especially platformers. Even the games that try and emulate it always feel off, like they can't nail the calibration between fluid motion and rigid precision

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest the anime, but make it slice of life 😁

@Magic-Man Got any insider info to share?

Magic Kingdom will be replaced by the Boiling Isles, complete with Bob Iger playing King Belos.

Seriously though we'll probably get the Dinoland replacement plans and that's it. Hopefully they'll open in phases starting in 2026.

Dang leaks already?!?! I was not expecting that. But I’m happy to quarantine in here, I don’t need any leaks. The simple fact that a Direct is happening within the next 6 days is good enough for me.

Only question I have is… have the leaks only been for the contents of the Direct, or did they say when it’s airing yet?

Dude is never going to stop making films. Miyazaki will be storyboarding and directing until the day he dies.

In RPG's I really like the log's to check back what people say in conversations and I swear, there is one game who does it best. That is Fire Emblem Engage. The way the current textbox flows into the log is so well thought out. Little UX designs like this I can really appreciate.

From what I’ve seen it’s contents. I don’t think we really need a leaked date as this forum was pretty good at sleuthing out the likely candidates based on the entries into the contest.

I’ll say they are being talked about still in the direct thread, but there are a total of 3, so nothing too much since this morning. I think the worst is over probably (for today at least).
