y'know sometimes you just have to make things work in the short term

just like nintendo making their surplus of oled panels work in the short term

yes I know that's probably not what happened
And the air bubbles that are there are going away as the hours go by, just like the OLED models on store shelves.

I honestly feel that the DP remakes are even easier than Sword and Shield. Already about to hit level 30 with 4 Pokemon before my third gym challenge.

And I'm not even grinding all that much lol

My work just got a Switch OLED display model, and holy shit y'all were not joking about how good it is. It's right next to a launch Switch and a Lite and the OLED screen is miles better than both of them.
Want to get the oled but I know I will just replace it when the dane comes so dont see the point

To be fair, the third gym's ace IS level 30, so normally that'd be okay...

...but Sinnoh does the whole nonlinear thing for a bit and the third and fourth gyms have the same levels, which kinda skews things further? Would have appreciated a level bump, even if it seems to even out by the E4.

That is problematic design considering the trainers you fight beforehand aren't even at level 20. But iirc, D/P/P had that issue back then too.

I feel like that's a really good way to dissuade people from getting the other units.

The only mainline metroid thats not metroidvania is your favorite?
Excuse me, but where did you get that it's my favorite Metroid game? I said as a joke your (i.e. famis) favorite game in the series because of its infamous reputation.
I haven't played it and I don't plan to do so ever.

Oh I misread "your" as "my" thats what I get for speedreading, carry on then

Picked up Monkey Ball on PS5 on sale for $20. Was too good a deal to pass up. I like the anniversary edition cover and art book, but man, its the same reason I hate most steelbooks, they make the shelf area look so off and it somewhat triggers my OCD >.>

IIRC D/P just has some weirdly leveled trainers in general, I remember one spot being really weird so I looked it up: The second gym leader's ace pokemon is a level 22 Roserade. AFTER you beat them, you can then access the Team Galactic Building in the same town to rescue the bike guy, and the building has like 5-6 trainers in it which have a grand total of ONE pokemon that's at level 20, and that's the Admin's ace. The rest of them are all below, and in many cases even level 15 or below. It's just... bizarre

It made me consider getting a qled or OLED TV and computer monitor to play games and watch shows/movies on a bigger screen. Normal displays are just washed out

If Camelot wants to stay independent, they really need to increase their manpower. Because Jesus Christ, Mario Golf shouldn't have launched the way it did. And when the updates are starting to get good, it just fucking ends. 5 months of support is laughable.

Aw that sucks, yeah I keep hearing nintendo kinda been sucking with their sports games recently

I assume the budget for these games are fairly lean. I doubt Nintendo and Camelot are losing money on these, hence the continued methods. if they weren't working out, there would have been some chances by now.

I'm normally not one to say this (I'm a big supporter of post launch content), but Mario Golf should have been delayed a few months and launched with all these updates day one. One of the biggest launch complaints was the lack of content, and now that's fixed. Stop trying to complete games months after launch.

I doubt this was a "finish the game" update.

do you seriously think that dane will launch with an lcd
#teamnooled means I dont own a oled lol and am waiting for the dane

As for the dane having a oled, the only reason why I think it wont have a oled is to lower costs and not to make it too expensive. It would really suck if it dosent have a oled though

Not this update itself, but in general. The game lacked courses, modes, and characters at launch. Now that's fixed. I wouldn't say they held back at launch, but this stuff should have been there day one.

You'd think that Nintendo is the one mandating the slow roll out of updates to keep the game somewhat relevant and players interested to return to the game once new content drops; they did with some many of their online multiplayer games ever since Splatoon 1. But I do agree the base game needs to be more robust

Camelot also failed on me for not adding Diddy Kong or any more DK content :( .. especially after the super cool DK course they had back on the 3DS.

I just found out that Amid Evil is a thing, and is confirmed to be coming to the Switch at some point in the future.

Holy moly it looks freaking incredible, it's instantly jumped into my top 5 most anticipated Switch games. I love these kind of fast paced run and gun shooters, Doom 2016 and Eternal for example are two of my favourite games of the last decade. I also adore the retro-meets-modern aesthetic.

Yet another potential 2022 banger.

okay I get that the bit is kind of contrarian predictions but expecting the dane not to have an OLED is absolutely insane. I simply do not comprehend. it is beyond me
did you read my previous post, I said teamnooled means that I literally dont own a oled

Kind of reminds me of Serious Sam but faster.

yeah it was pretty late to be buying the luxury model but the timing was right for me to get one. even if I'll rue it then, it's just nice that my sisters are playing pokemon together

I really enjoyed Super Rush at launch and every free update made me love it more. Really the only part that felt unfinished was the single player story mode that just ends after the boss fight. The start of the story sets up a clear ending and it just ends right before it (reminded me of Golf Story’s totally whatever ending). I’d certainly pay for DLC if it happens, but I’m more than content if the support stops here. I thought the previous update would be the last to add courses. Hope we get a beach course and full XC golf in the next game.

it is cold in my apartment and I have been very tired

also I’m mid computer-switch (first new laptop in twelve years, yahoo) so all my ST3 files are jumbled across the netospheric plane

nobody asked me to Photoshop this many bad jokes

nobody

but the abyss is restless and may darkness ever guide my hands
