If this Direct is as Mario-packed as it seems like it could be, I'm gonna (happily) lose my damn mind. New 2D Mario, TTYD HD, SMRPG remake, DK, and baseball? That's absolutely absurd, and I'll leave my wallet open for Ninty to just reach in and help themselves.

Alternatively, just give me TTYD only and I'm happy for another 6 months.

Zippo is back and still unreliable but I just don't want a HD2D remake of chrono trigger.
 
Nintendo should be focusing on making games from actual videogame franchises instead of focusing on movie-licensed games like Mario.
 
There is no way they would announce a new 2D Mario at a Mini Direct right? Because 2D Mario alone would rule out a Mini imo.

To be clear, I think 2D Mario was always pretty likely on its own, it's just you getting that right combined with the timing.

Even if only half of it is shown, I think we're looking at a pretty solid Direct, in my opinion.

For the Mario+Rabbids DLC, I think it's more likely that we'll see the upcoming DLC 2 that's supposed to release in mid-2023. We have the title (The Last Spark Hunter) but no details and no date. On Twitter, they've been posting about the Spark Hunters from the base game, which says to me they're leading up to a reveal of who this "last" Spark Hunter is and what the DLC entails. I haven't played the base game, so I don't know how many Spark Hunters remain and what date that would point to for a proper reveal. We could definitely see the Rayman DLC 3 as well, though.

For those who know the base game, they've posted about two Spark Hunters so far.
 


Just saw that in the general thread... Squenix releasing the game they should've released without any advertisement? Could possibly be in the direct too 👀
 
sounds like a lot of good things for hard core Nintendo fans in this direct, but outside of 2d Mario could be a little disappointing to the more general audience

They have been slowly changing the game over the past few months. Chocobo GP is a really great game without all the bull shit micro currencies in it.
 

Okay even if Pyoro's legit there's something so funny about a renowned journalism source basing an entire article on an account most of us didn't even know existed until a few hours ago
 
Thread is moving too fast. Why do people think there is a Super Mario RPG or Chrono Trigger remake? Is it just the SNES remake guy on Twitter? Has anyone checked to see if he's a Tweet Deleting Grifter (TDG)?

Edit: People here saying he's legit though so I guess this isn't a situation where he deleted any/all wrong tweets while leaving the correct tweets up.

It's either happening here or in the September Direct which isn't far away. I want to see it now obviously but doesn't make much of a difference.
