I'm convinced that the earth must explode the day after Pikmin 4 comes out because why else would Nintendo release a dump truck full of games in H1

Figuring out why the hell this is happening is like 80% of the reason this speculation season is fun

I have a feeling we're going to be in very bizarre territory until Switch 2 launches

I'm not completely sold on this entirely being the case, but I do think it's possible that some folks on here are going to really regret dismissing the "no major games until 2024 with Switch 2" rumor. Really feels like people didn't believe in it because they didn't want it to be true.

Imagine thinking there is no June Direct after this. This announcement even confirms June Direct alone for me, absolutely funny.

January: Fire Emblem Engage

February: Metroid Prime Remastered, Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe

March: Bayonetta Origins, Mario Kart DLC

April: Advance Wars 1/2 Reboot Camp, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed

May: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

June: Everybody 1-2 Switch

July: Pikmin 4

Wait, wait, for people arguing that this game announcement means no Direct in June for sure...did we forget when they announced Ring Fit ? I think it was shortly after or before a Direct too. Didn't they just start to announce the most casual games outside of directs this gen ?

(yeah but that's less fun)

Regardless about how we all feel in regards to Nintendo's release plans for the second half of this year, can we take a minute to appreciate one of the random announcements from Nintendo in the Switch era?

Weird for them to semi-shadow drop their first party game of June like this. It's almost like there is no plans for featuring first party stuff in the summer direct similar to what happened last year.

Imagine how we would all be feeling right now if this game didn't leak and we had no idea about it before now.
