Blizzard (and Activision basically too) also have other problems that lead to brain drain, biggest one is being one of the most toxic workplaces i've ever read about.
And a (current) leadership that's basically "This is fine" about the whole shit.

Truly disgusting.

I'll be honest, i have a massive interest in Diablo 4. I skipped the Diablo 2 Remaster due to those reasons already.
And despite not having a suitable gaming PC, the thought "oh well, you can't change ActiBlizz ... why not just go and get Diablo 4?" came up more and more.

Thankfully, Bobby "Piece of dogshit rotting in the sun" Kotick opening his shit mouth again for Variety just yesterday cleaned me of all urges for Diablo 4 for the near future.

To be honest, i'm at a point where i want MS to aquire ActiBlizz simply for the current suits there get the boot. I know it would be a "golden" one with lots of money for those assholes ... but at least they would be out and someone can finally do something about all the issues ActiBlizz have right now.

I wonder if some of them might've been snatched up by Retro Studios. I hope they left to a better studio in general or found a developer that they wanted to work on.
 
Hopefully Redfall will be a learning experience for Microsoft and Bethesda. With Game Pass being the main focus games like Prey and Dishonored should be less of a risk.
 
Schreier's article is damning. Microsoft's hands-off approach will probably need to change
 
Microsoft should have just followed what Nintendo did when they had a crisis of within a development team. See, back in 2013, the majority of devs wanted to make a squid game. But the dev leadership wanted a kid game. That's when Miyamoto stepped in, flipped a tea table, and said "Why not both?". Now it's a 10+ million franchise.

Anyone here played Afterimage? It got a decent amount of buzz in advance for being a very pretty-looking metroidvania, and then it came out and I heard absolutely nothing about it. Looking at the reviews, it's very positive on Steam and decent-to-good on XSX, but seems like the Switch version has terrible load times and performance issues. Just seemed odd to me that I don't recall hearing a single thing about the game at all after it actually released.

We just had one of the wettest Mays on record, and it's been pretty cool so far. I'm dreading when the summer heat finally decides to kick in soon.

I have the game on my wishlist but I haven't checked it out yet. Zelda discussion completely sucked up the discussion for the rest of May so I'm not surprised no one is talking about it.

Here in SoCal it’s been constant gloom/fog for months, never seen anything like it. I don’t mind it but I do kinda miss the sun lol.
 
Gotta say, I currently enjoy Jedi Fallen Order more than I anticipated before. I'd have given it a 7/10 in the beginning, but right now I'd actually push it up to an 8, maybe even 8.5. I hope it keeps this level up until the very end; start screen says I'm at 58% (whatever that actually means). Taking my time with it right now, while also jumping in and out of Elden Ring, MH Rise, Persona 5 Royal...

Oooh, very excited to try this out if it gets good reviews! Though granted I'll use only the Godzilla DLC exclusively haha

So apparently it was missed it getting announced in the last indie world cause it was only in the Japanese one


Tho to be fair base characters are homages so that helps. But yeah more licensed dlc would be cool

Also it’s been out on ps4 and steam since last august so there are reviews out there
